"Nice and very quiet hotel. Breakfast is delicious and extensive. The swimming pool with sunbathing area is super quiet. Free parking in front of the hotel. The room is nice and spacious with a good bathroom. El Torcal and the dolmen are well worth a visit. Antequera is a small, cute town. If you don't stay too long, it is perfectly manageable."

However my experience was very good, and I have no criticism that would deter its choice as suitable base for those visiting Andalusia. The hotel is modern, although from distance its roofs appear old. The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfasts and Dinners are buffet style, and quite good, though many visitors might prefer the many restaurants in the town, 10 - 20 minutes walk away. There is a sparkling clean swimming pool and a fair number of sunbeds, etc. All of the staff I spoke to were efficient and friendly. Finally, it is very good value, and a good choice if you're visiting this area."

"My sister and I had such a perfect two night stay in this little gem of an hotel. Ernesto and Inma were just wonderful with the (many) questions when booking and Ernesto was just fabulously helpful when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Marie Carmen was just superb on serving us in the restaurant, where the food is absolutely delicious. All other staff were incredibly helpful too and the setting is stunning. We indulged ourselves with a hour in the spa and also a massage too, both were an absolute treat and good value for money too. Would have no hesitation in recommending Fuente del Sol if you like a quiet retreat and would definitely return."
