Вход был прекрасен, мы были там раньше, чем проверка вовремя, так что могли оставить багаж там, также могли уйти после проверки тоже, бесплатно. Комната была в порядке, хороший размер. Подходит для пребывания. Тихо ночью. Завтрак был в порядке, стандартный завтрак. В целом, это отличный отель, чтобы остаться в Арнеме."

"We found this easy to find unlike other reviewers; go past the various barns and houses to the very end of the lane and turn right where you see the small sign. Very friendly check in. Our lodge was no 6 (described as Bosrand type) and was very comfortable in a peaceful location. One side of the lodge is full windows facing the forest and in summer the windows can open up. As it was winter, we made use of the heated flooring and radiator and it was very cosy. There is a small kitchenette with 2 hob rings, kettle, coffee machine, small fridge. Enough equipment for basic cooking - being picky a toaster would be useful. We didn’t take the breakfast option which was €15pp, instead we made our own scrambled eggs. The bed was large and comfortable, with blackout curtains making the place very dark & quiet (except occasional extractor fan and boiler noise). The Tv was a bit difficult to use but eventually worked out how to log in to Netflix. We rented E-bikes to visit Veluwe which is a short cycle away. Entry to the park is €13 and there are free bikes within but we were glad of the electric ones! Plenty of other attractions nearby incl burgers zoo, open air museum & Arnhem. We ate in Il lupo one night, which is intimate (maybe 10 tables) but cosy and seemed fully booked so definitely reserve. The menu is limited (handful of pizza & pasta dishes) but the food was delicious as was the Aperol spritz & wine. The whole site is tranquil and well located with friendly staff - I would visit again."

"We stayed here for four nights combining bicycle touring and seeing friends. The hotel has a secure place to leave bicycles and plenty to borrow too. It's a short cycle from Arnhem (hilly for the Netherlands and a short section is in the dark forest with no street lighting). It's a short cycle to Hoge Veluwe and Veluwezoom national parks which are excellent for cycling and hiking. There are hikes in the forest the hotel lies in, and it is a beautiful setting. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and really helpful with practical arrangements. Our room (8) was clean and comfortable and very spacious with a lovely view of the garden. The bathroom was in the room (toilet separate). Dinner is amazing here - we had the La Belle Source menu twice and the brassiere once. They catered well for vegetarians and the matching wines were well chosen by a friendly and experienced sommelier. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Breakfast was ok - it's all buffet and it huge choice is a little underwhelming after such good dinners and got very busy at times. This was the only disappointment we had with this lovely hotel. Overall a great stay, good value for money and we would highly recommend it to others."

"Arnhem isn't exactly overflowing with decent hotels, and this one still fares relatively well on the review sites. It's indeed centrally located, right in the heart of the vibrant old town. Surprisingly, all parking in the area is free and unlimited. Perhaps this explains the hotel's claim of having its own free parking spaces – which, in reality, don't exist. So you park in the narrow streets or 300 meters away in the parking garage at the train station. Our room was relatively large, but laid out on two levels – with a steep staircase leading down if you want to go to the bathroom, for example, at night. Our dog is afraid of heights and barely dared to go up. The walls are painted black (a matter of taste) and adorned with "artwork" in the style of Miró. Hence, presumably, the "art and fashion hotel" label. There's no air conditioning, just a rattling ventilation system. The room was very hot – no wonder, it was early May with an outside temperature of almost 20 degrees Celsius. What must it be like in the height of summer? The room was correspondingly dark; the numerous lamps mostly didn't work, weren't plugged in, or simply couldn't be operated. At least one window on the lower level could be opened – which we did occasionally. However, trains roared past at a distance of about seven meters and at the same level. Not all night, but clearly audible. So: sweat or noise. The bed was okay, the pillows plentiful and usable. One peculiarity: The hotel boasts a "sustainable" elevator. It reaches an average speed of about ten centimeters per second. Sounds fast, but it isn't. Calling the elevator: two to three minutes. Riding the elevator: just as long. Sounds short, but it isn't – especially if you're not the only guest in the building. The others, however, are smarter and prefer to take the stairs. Breakfast? Mediocre. Little choice (three pieces of sausage, four pieces of cheese, pre-made scrambled eggs, and canned rolls). The best thing: the orange juice – not freshly squeezed, but at least it was direct juice. Conclusion: A disappointing stay. The only thing princely here was the price: 270 euros including breakfast. The dog costs 35 euros a day. So, definitely no black walls with imitation Mirós. Design is expensive – sure. But here it just feels too contrived. I wouldn't recommend it."
