"The Bellanca Hotel is ideally located, close to the Casino, with a direct view on the harbor and access to the beach. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us - they gave my son a little souvenir, he was delighted to get it. Rooms are cosy, extremely clean, and have all that is needed. The only thing we liked less about our stay is not about the hotel per se but that some guests talked loudly in the common area until midnight to the point it was hard to sleep. When we notified the staff they took care of it."

"Check in was very smooth. My girlfriend and I were pretty hungry when we arrived and saw The Original Anthony’s across the street , luckily the front desk has a storage area/ bell closet they will hold your luggage free of cost while you are away. Great location , clean clean rooms, water pressure and quality was luring , and great Concierge service for extra towels and whatever you may need. Breakfast is available to preorder for the next day, via QR code . We will have to take advantage of that next time ."

"All in all, a disappointment for the money spent for two nights in the San Nicholas room, which faces the harbor and is above the main walkway in Avalon. Pros: the room was clean, the bed decent, and the staff friendly, decent breakfast, great location, great view from the room. Cons: when we came in the room we noticed eye masks and ear plugs. If we hadn't already spent the luxury amount of money for the room, I might have just left. The noise from the walkway turned out to be a non-issue for us, perhaps because we were there during the week, not the weekend. But I could easily imagine a problem on the more crowded weekends. The real problem for us was the string lights outside our window (over the walkway) that are on twenty-four hours, seven days a week. At night, our "luxury" room was lit up like a carnival. The only thing blocking the light were inadequate blinds. They provided the face masks. Which not everyone likes to wear, or should have to wear. After two nights, we were exhausted. If you don't mind the possibility of noise, are a heavy sleeper, and don't mind the light, this is a nice place. We just needed a bit more, considering the money spent."

"The hotel location is good, but the room is too small. If it overlaps with the weekend, it's too expensive. Not suitable for family travel. I have no intention of visiting again."

"This was an older property, built in 1910. Buildings were clean and upgraded, somewhat. Our room had a slanted floor, which apparently other guests had complained about. Didn't really bother us much. Bathroom was very small like a half bath made into a full bath with a shower. Shower was less than 3 ft wide by 3 ft deep and I would say 7 feet high. Other than that, the managers were very accommodating and helpful."
