We booked for 7 nights and ended up leaving after 3 nights. I have been visiting Bali for 46 years and never before have I experienced the lack of service, and indeed disdain that was evident from the staff. Everything was below par - e.g one water glass in a room for two. On requesting a second bottle of water for our room we were told that they didn't have enough bottles to provide us with another - despite the fact that the never had 100% occupancy. I accidentally stained one of their hand towels by using it when eating rambutan - I was told off as though I was a naughty child. The final straw was being given a plastic sheet as the top sheet on our bed 🙄 and when we complained this morning we were told it was the only clean sheet available. We were told they had used that sheet for 12 years (it looked like it too) and nobody had ever complained before. We were actually laughed at when we complained. Customer service and care in Bali is usually excellent. This was so very poor. We were told that the business is currently up for sale which may explain the lack of investment in sheets etc. but that doesn't explain the attitude of staff.
