"Called in for lunch in the Carbery Lounge Bar. Place was not busy on arrival, yet having waited for five minutes for somebody to bring menus, I collected them myself from the bar counter. Despite bar being quiet, some tables were not cleared from previous diners. Order was taken at 2.55pm and food eventually arrived at 3.35pm…….only because I queried it with the bar/wait staff member who said they were busy with a wedding and food would not be long!. Food was average, bland fare. Wedding party were arriving as we departed so reason for delay not well founded. Strangely on our previous visit, delay also experienced and same reason provided. Nice location, good parking but appears to be lacking in management on the floor to ensure provision of quality service. It is not appropriate for staff to be seen drinking coffee seated in the bar ( in uniform) while customers waited for their food. Would not be rushing back unfortunately."

"The location, service, and food were good. Plenty of parking spaces. However, on a hot summer day I asked for a fan and had to keep the windows open, and the nearby pub had amplified singing until after 11pm, which made it hard if you wanted an early sleep."
