Hotel Cerro la Nina

Struttura bellissima, ubicata in una zona con vista eccezionale. Camera bella, ma letto un po’ piccolo e tetto mansardato un po’ basso. Posteggio gratuito. Ottima colazione. Complessivamente consigliabile.

A superb place to stay , rooms and facilities were excellent , very clean. Staff super helpful and friendly. Will be returning again for sure. Many thanks for making are stay an enjoyable experience. Food and drinks excellent value with relaxing surroundings.

To start the road up to the hotel is a bit gnarly if you follow a Sat nav but there is an alternative which is a bit easier. The secure underground parking is a massive bonus with direct access to the rooms. Check in was so easy with broken Spanish and Google translate with exceptionally friendly staff. The room on entrance was spotlessly clean with the air con running so it was already at a comfortable temperature. The room was well appointed with a fridge and hair dryer and plenty of storage. There was plenty of space around the pool with no need for the crack of dawn sun bed dash. The breakfast was a normal fair of cooked and pastries, nothing special but more than adequate however the evening meal was the same every night and quite expensive for what it was. This may be an issue if you don’t have transport away from the hotel. The position of the hotel is quite remote so it would be a mission to walk to an alternative restaurant. The views from the hotel are stunning from the outside lounge area and if you are lucky enough to have a balcony room. So the upshot of the review is great hotel, excellent friendly staff, beautiful location spotlessly clean. The only downside is the evening meal options but if you have transport this is a non issue as there are plenty of alternatives available. So, would we recommend this hotel, absolutely and can’t wait to visit again

My wife and I spent 6 nights here and it's one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Really great and varied breakfast, lovely a la carte dinner. Hotel Cerro La Nina is simply a fantastic hotel with a great layout and amazing friendly staff. This was the perfect base for day hiking in the Picos and then coming back in the evening time to either relax by the pool or just soak up the amazing view from the terrace, which is truly spectacular. Really great and varied breakfast, lovely a la carte dinner. Highly recommended!

Cosy hotel, a bit far away from everything, but with great views. We did wonderful hiking in the environment. Very small (and cold!) swimming pool. The rooms were nice and okay. Breakfast was very good. But diner was a disappoin**ent, being a buffet with a choice of lukewarm dishes of poor quality.

Although we booked a different hotel (El Bricial) we were upgraded to Cerro La Nina due to last minute group booking and no rooms available for us. At first we were slightly upset as it's bit further from the main roads etc but once we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with very warm welcome, beautiful surroundings and rural peace. Our family of 5 was split between two rooms, but no issues there, rooms were nice and spacious with incredible views of Picos de Europa. Small outdoor swimming pool was located on the slope facing the mountains so you could swim and soak in the sun adoring the views. Breakfast was nice with a choice of hot options (bacon, omelette, eggs, sausages) as well as continental ones. Great start of the day even for our picky kids. Since the hotel is located on the top of a hill our Google maps directed us through the small village with very narrow roads almost touching doors with our side mirrors, we later found out there was a different way to get to the main road, less intrusive for the villagers. There is even big underground car park with access to the elevator, very handy! I would highly recommend Cerro La Nina.

Everything! Great location, very peaceful and relaxing. Friendly staff, great buffet breakfast. Good size rooms. We are a family of 3 (2 adults & a 13 year old) and our room had a double bed, bathroom, small balcony and a 2nd room off our room with 2 single beds where our daughter slept. We also took our dog and there was a dog bed and bowl in our room when we arrived.

Great views, although the weather was not that great , the hotel was very cost and warm , having a restaurant was also handy because the hotel is on top of a mountain with long winding roads so if you don’t want to leave you can eat in.

Great location with magnificent views! Close to all sorts of sports activities and hiking. We had booked a room with a balcony but were given a room without one. When asking about this we were told that it's a problem with the reservation system and they should fix it. They did change our room the next day so all good but the reasoning seemed a bit off. The room was ok. They are all a bit dark and small, and the air conditioning was really loud in both rooms. What we liked was the restaurant beause the food was great and the service was nice. We didn't like the fact that the pool area is too small for so many people. It was basically like a soup of children and adults. Not relaxing by any means. They had a strange towel policy which meant that you take your bath towel to the pool, which will be replaced when you return. It took several hours to get our towels replaced so you basically dry yourself with your pool towel after showering in the room. However, the value was ok and the egg station at the breakfast was good. And the view!!
