The service in the restaurants was slow and the people are not happy. Service around the adult pool was non existent. The prices of food and drinks is ASTRONOMICAL for what you get. Soooo over priced it’s crazy. Taxis are very over priced as well. Would I return? Maybe but not likely.

Lets start with the bad. This resort is advertised as a resort with a spa & gym. To my surprise the spa & gym were not open! It was under construction and not opened to the public. I'm disappointed that the resort would not disclose that on their website prior to people booking. Very misleading & deceptive. I was looking forward to a spa day & disappointed i could not include that in my trip. Also I paid extra for an ocean view. The room I got was a partial ocean view and more of a view of the resort. What i noticed when i checked in the original room i was assigned was crossed out which was definitely a full ocean view & they reassigned me this partial ocean view. When i went to complain to the front desk the lady tried to tell that I did have a ocean view. I continued to complain & explain that most of my view was the resort & why was my room changed at the last minute to a partial ocean view. She ended up calling the manger who told me i would be moved to a full ocean view room the next day because nothing was available right now & they were waiting for guest to check out. Now for the postive. The resort is very clean and the grounds are well taken care of. The food is amazing & top teir for an all inclusive resort. Breakfast, lunch, dinner all delicious. Fresh food that are well seasoned. One of the restaurant i went to had the best food. Lobster tails, lamb chops, salmon all 5 stars..extremely happy w the food & strong drinks. Will return once spa & gym open.

It’s just to new . Some staff members great. Others horrible . Overall management terrible . Water leak in room no assistance and then a downgraded room after . They know nothing of hospitality and there is no real supervision.

I would definitely go to Barbados again but would NEVER stay at this resort again.
The staff was friendly and helpful however you can tell this place is very poorly run. Management clearly is not training and no one knew what what going on.
They offered room service but there was no menu. They would have a drink one day and then the rest of the week, they couldn't make that same drink.
Most importantly was the cockroach. There was a cockroach (dead) in my room one night in the middle of the floor between the fridge and bathroom door. The rest of the week, I would come back to my room, the fridge would be stocked (2x a day) and housekeeping would have been there but no one bothered to pick up the dead roach. It was there the entire week so what cleaning was being done?
Lastly, there were a LOT of men walking around with the staff. I assumed they were owners/investors. It's really hard to relax in a bathing suit when a bunch of men are overdressed and just watching you awkwardly. IT made me very uncomfortable as if I was dressed inappropriately at the pool. would not recommend.

The property is beautiful & newly renovated. The hotel is far from the main attractions on the island but you can easily get a taxi to take you where you need to go. The property is new & still under construction on some parts but don’t let that steer you away.

The property is far from the city but if you like peace and quiet, this is great. They do offer shuttles on certain days however. We cant swim at the beach because the water is rough from that side of the island. Other than that the food is great and the staff is sooo friendly and welcoming.

This will be a great resort once it is fully open. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The beach was great for walking on and very quiet, making us often feel like we had the beach to ourselves. The beach has a small area at one end that is perfect for a dip, though most of the beach is probably unsafe for swimming, but gorgeous for it's natural beauty.
We were there for the Super Bowl and Valentines day. The entertainment and food staff went above and beyond in supporting these two events.
People should be aware that there are only 3 restaurants that are open, and only 2 of those are open for dinner. Your dinner options are the Mediterranean buffet and the fine dining option of the Castleview restaurant which is very nice. Unfortunately, we were surprised to learn that although we were staying 7 nights, they would only allow us to book at the Castleview 3 times during our stay. As fine dining in the evening is something we always look forward to after a day at the beach or pool, we were very disappointed that we had to go to the buffet for 4 evenings. Had we known about this restriction, we may have made a different choice of resorts to stay at.
