"I was shocked when I saw a vinyl padded toilet seat with splits and cracks. UNSANITARY! DISGUSTING! Big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion that everyone else has touched/used. Location is creepy. Very old heat/ac unit. Almost needed a hammer to push the buttons . Inconsiderate neighbors. I deserve a refund. This hotels concern is the almighty $ and not their guests."

"The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was good. My only complaint was the pool was closed for 2 days for cleaning. And that's not so fun when you have an 11 year old who was looking forward to swimming in the pool. Luckily Bemidji has lots of beaches to swim in."

"This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. The location of the hotel cannot be beat sitting directly on the Lake with beautiful, serene Northern Minnesota views. The problem with the property is that it is in terrible need of upgrading and replacing the furnishings within the hotel. We were actually upgraded due to my Gold status to a spacious 2-room suite at the end of the hallway on the 3rd floor overlooking the parking lot of which I don't remember the room number. The furniture inside was dirty and worn and had seen better days. The couch was filthy and we had to put extra towels down upon it to sit on it. Hopefully management and corporate will rectify this situation with this hotel since it is a shame with all else the hotel has going for it."
