Hera Hotel

If you are driving, you might call the hotel in advance, they can show you a better way to get there. We followed google map, went through a tight and steep way, very difficult to drive. The hotel is a very old house, with a very long history. The view is beautiful, very nice to chillin. The bed sheet was not clean, we asked the staff to change again. Breakfast was good, loved Turkish breakfast. Easy to walk to the old town and the sightseeings. If you are visiting the historical site, highly recommended.

Ein mit viel Herz geführtes und eingerichtetes Hotel, in dem man sich vom ersten Moment an wohl fühlt. Es hat eine wunderschöne Terrasse mit Blick über die Stadt. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sehr sauber.

We had read in numerous review about the difficulty finding this hotel but if you follow the instructions provided by the hotel it is reasonably straight forward. Our mistake was to second guess ourselves thinking the bridge didn't loo like it was for car use! We were warmly welcomed by the owner and he assisted with our bags and helped with the parking site for the car. Our room was 'Hera' room and decorated accordingly as are the other rooms. The owner has great local knowledge and very good English. He made recommendations for restaurants and activities- all in easy walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and there are areas in the hotel where you can sit and read or simply relax- we even had a visit into the wine cellar. Breakfast was prepared by a wonderful local woman and was fresh, plentiful and tasty. Tea and coffee are available for guests to make at any time. This was a wonderful relaxing stay.

My family and I had a perfect stay at this family run hotel. The couple running it made us feel so welcomed, like family. The rooms were beautifully authentic and clean, and the breakfast was exquisite, with a view overlooking Bergama. We drank delicious wines on the terrace and were able to ask the owners all of our questions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all!

A small charming hotel in the old section of bergama. Tough to find. Best to buy a local map as google maps dont work well. Terrace of hotel was lovely and staff was helpful. The breakfast was incredible. We noticed other hotels and were pleased with the choice we had made. Folks seeking american standards will hopefully be charmed by this good option.

Good hotel in the hearth of Bergama old town. The room was clean. The breakfast very good and quite big. Free Parking also available. The owners are a very nice couple that take care personally of this small hotel and are available to suggest you whatever you need about restaurants place to visit and so on. A furnished cave of local and international wines is also available.

Wonderful old hotel on the cobble streeted hillside. Spacious accommodation and lovely staff happy to impart their knowledge.

We have stayed at the Hera on multiple occasions and have enjoyed it each time. The road is not easy getting there but the hospitality is well worth it

Excellent traditional pension at convenient place especially if you visit Pergamon Acropolis, very helpful hosts, nice breakfast with a variety of fresh fruits
