Premier Inn Birmingham South (Longbridge)

Very dissapointing. the room was clean but had 2 really hard pilows . no choice of softer ones. had terrible nights sleep with stiff neck in morning. no one at reception to help. the restaurant food was one of the wost meals i have had anywhere. the chicken was overcooked and hard. chips were cold.so were the other 5peoples in our group.we did tell waitress .I just wont stay there again put me right off.

Just average really. A little shabby overall. No character unlike some Premier inns. Find the rooms stuffy and TV very small. Takes ages for staff to come to main desk. Hairdryer attachment broken. It's annoying that I have to keep writing due to 200 character minimum

Tom was absolutely spectacular, he really made my experience a whole new dimension and he’s the sole reason I will be staying again ASAP. He has lovely hair, a glowing smile, and the cleanest spectacles we have laid our eyes on. WOW I can’t believe we are lucky enough to be here.

It's an amazing hotel in a great location, with superb service. I felt at home, check-in was easy and welcoming, food was plentiful and that's what I really wanted. I would most definitely go again, just for the food. Lovely server and very caring. The room was immaculately clean and I was a supervisor at the Hilton Metropole for the Commonwealth Games, so I know the great care taken to present such a room. It was flawless.

Sad that the hotel staff should have to suffer but the restaurant food is appalling. I ordered prawn cocktail only to receive loads of lettuce and 6 small prawns - I did bring this to the attention of the staff and was told ‘yes we have had a lot of complaints about this but that’s the way it is served’ for main I wanted the half chicken but well done, it arrived looking as though it had hit an extractor fan as the leg was in pieces, it was pale and flaccid looking but worst of all it was cold, clearly not probed to ensure correct temperature was reached. My previous job was catering so I do know. My job now involves lots of travelling and Premier Inn is my hotel of choice and the hotel staff were excellent as was the person who actually served us at breakfast but the food was disgusting, also I had a yogurt that had that days date on it…. Not quite out of date but on the edge and as there was no fridge to keep them cool another potential food safety issue,

Kirsti and the team are Lovely friendly staff let us check in early and when they heard our relationship story left us a lovely little card up to the room which was a lovely touch thanks And also apologised when the system went down as it took a little bit longer to check us in

Great staff excellent service staff really friendly and extremely helpful and made to feel really welcome really comfy bed great location and food great and it was really quiet Will definitely stay again it was great value for money
