Spark by Hilton Branson Meadows

This hotel was the level of a Motel 6! First off I want to say the reason our stay was poor was not because of the staff. Lacey, the desk clerk was amazing and did everything she could to help us during our stay as well as the house keeping manager and the maintenance man. The rooms were horrible, and run down. The paint was falling off the walls in the bathroom and there were holes in the wall with toilet paper stuck in them. If you walk barefoot in the room your feet will be black from the soiled carpet. The ac in both the rooms we had stopped working in the middle of the night and the maintenance man explained that when it's cold outside the ac are controlled by a heat pump and will stop blowing cold. We had a sick child the first night and needed the rooms change and clean the next day and house keeping came in and did that but they put a machine in our room to clear out the smell of vomit bc they couldn't get to the shampoo machine to clean the vomit off the floor. The machine put off an awful odor. They told us to stay out for 10 mins and after they removed it we had to sit in the hallway for over an hour bc the smell would itch our throats and make us cough. Needless to say this was a miserable stay and a waste of $600. We will not be staying here again.

Our room was clean. However, the room was dated, furnishings need updating. Checking in was delayed as the staff at the desk did not seem to be organized. The lobby and dining area were cluttered and needed attention. However, as a family group of women, we felt safe and the location was very convenient.

Our king room was clean, pretty spacious, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was average, but still tasted good and the lady manning the breakfast area was so sweet and helpful. A major drawback and reason for the 3 star review was that the lady who checked us in was NOT very friendly nor helpful. She never smiled once or welcomed us in. Needless to say, it left us with a poor impression on the front desk staff.

We showed up without a reservation, and Cheryl at the front desk was working. She found us a room that was in a quiet area, and also found us a discount on the rates. Cheryl went out of her way to make us feel like old time guests, and the room was great, clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The hotel was fine. The room was clean and seemed to be well-kept. We did have an issue with inadequate hot water and heard others at breakfast talking about the lack of hot water also. The staff was friendly, breakfast was good (typical hotel food) and had plenty. They were doing some updating on the outside of the building but we did not have a problem with noise from it. Not a bad place but not a great place either. For the price it was an ok place to stay.

We decided on a last minute long weekend in Branson. Our favorite hotel was booked. After reading TripAdvisor reviews we decided to try Barrington Hotel. We really enjoyed our three night stay! When we walked in we instantly noticed how clean the hotel smelled! The rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds! The hotel was super quiet which was surprising since the parking lot was full! A big plus was that our room was cleaned every day!! The breakfast was simple but it’s free so no complaints. Every night they have dessert from 9-11 which is a great treat after coming back from a late show! We would definitely stay again!

We have been staying here for years, we really like it, close to a lot of attractions. We enjoy the hot breakfast and the desert time at night. The breakfast is biscuits, eggs, sausage, gravy, waffles, muffins, fruits and hot cereals and more things. For desert time there will be either cookies, brownies, ice cream, or cobblers, always good. The service is always good. We have never met anyone that is not nice to us, always friendly. We plan on coming back for many more years.

We had two rooms, a queen that was a nice room and a king suite that was superb! It had a nice layout with a wet bar, huge tv, hot tub, and plenty of floor space. My 88 year old mother-in-law traveled with us and needed some extra blankets and a fan in her room. Lacey at the front desk was very cordial and helped make our stay enjoyable...Thanks Lacey! All in all, The Barrington is a well maintained property with a great Branson location, polite and friendly staff and a very good breakfast. We will stay there again when in the Branson area.

Lacey was very kind and helpful for our stay, made us feel safe and at home! I’m glad we chose this hotel. The room is extremely clean and doesn’t smell like cigarettes, I will be staying here again in the future!
