"Ranscombe House was perfect for our needs , we only stayed for one night we arrived a bit early and asked to leave the car at their car park which was ok. Went into town which isn’t that far away. Pip was a great host the room was perfect very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. We had a free upgrade and the view from the midships room are great. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Pip for making making us feel at home."

"New Year's Eve party - We had a fantastic experience here! The food was absolutely excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was delicious. The owners, Mark and Emily, are incredibly welcoming and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel right at home. The staff were also outstanding — friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. You both made 2026 an amazing one x You can really feel the warm atmosphere and pride behind this place. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!"

"A must stay for couples! The view was incredible (you can see in the photos below)! We also had a fantastic meal at The Rockfish restaurant, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient for all the shops/bars/restaurants in the harbour. The parking provided by the hotel was at the harbour itself, and was very convenient. We used self check-in, it was so quick and easy we could just get on with our short trip and waste no time! At breakfast we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, aside from the delicious (made to order) breakfast, the service was incredible. Highly recommend!"

"Revisiting Brixham, we had such a lovely experience staying at Driftwood B&B. Very comfortable, great breakfast and great views! Zoe and Keith are very welcoming and homely. Driftwood is very close to the harbour and shops. As you leave the front door, turn right and right again and within 3 minutes you are in the middle of the harbourside! Brilliant!"
