"Driving in Uganda is an experience ! When you leave the paved road it is hard to imagine you will end up anywhere desirable. Bumpy narrow dirt path and then….what a treasure Simple Elegant. Looking out over the jungle and the lake Place is immaculately clean. Staff are quietly efficient and attentive Rooms are comofortable. Preordered dinner was good and well served. Nice area to relax after. We were on the move but it would be a good base for lots of game park exploring."

"The resort was amazing. Very pretty, good rooms, wild life literally on your front porch, but I sent clothes to get washed and some came back damaged. When I asked if there was anything they could do at checkout, they flat out said no. They damaged over $100 worth of clothing and refused to do anything about it."

"Some staff are not welcoming and they allow other customers to inconvenience others. There's a room that kept playing loud music. I requested for them to reduce but nothing was done. During breakfast I requested for my food to be warmed using a microwave and was first told they don't have a microwave, in shock I re-echoed in shock you have no microwave? The lady later told me they don't do it. Then I asked you don't do it or are not allowed then she responded its not working. As you stay watch out for such. For breakfast ensure your the first to serve or you will have cold breakfast."

"This place is not well maintained: they put more effort into managing their garden than to make sure things are working properly. The gym was completely worn down, and the pool water was still standing - we avoided to use it. There was a lot of staff but they were not engaging or helpful. They were very unbothered by their guests. The food was not great. Rooms were spacious but power went on and off so AC and fridge did not work. Shower head was full of limescale and did not properly work. Would not recommend."
