Protur Floriana Resort

We are here now at this family hotel, and there are lots of pluses. It’s very clean, the all inclusive food is fine if a touch repetitive and all in all for a 3 star hotel it’s is really great value. The staff are all lovely. Very polite and seem to genuinely want to help. It’s also well positioned. 5 min walk to pubs restaurants etc and we hired a car so enjoyed days out to palma, beaches and a small water park the hotel partners with.-ask at reception about that. The entertainment staff work hard and seem to put a lot of effort in, only downside is “Alice, who the eff is Alice” being sung along to loud and clear. We aren’t prudes. But it’s a family hotel and there are lots and lots of very young children. However bring ear plugs! The noise!!! A cockerel starts up at 5.30 every morning, the bins (or something) is emptied every night at 12.30 and there’s building work going on somewhere that starts about 6.30am. And you can hear upstairs baths being emptied. Thankfully we travel with ear plugs! Other downside is the beds! Others have commented in reviews they are beyond uncomfortable. However it’s a week and me and my back have just cracked on. All in all this is a good solid hotel. Well priced, clean, nice staff etc. just bring ear plugs.

The pools were very cold for a hot day. The town was very close. Only about 5-10 minutes. The staff are also very understanding if you can't speak Spanish and you speak in English. The food was also very good. The rooms were very clean and smelt nice. Nothing was missing and it felt very safe and secure at night.

The beds in the apartments are terrible. I like a firm bed, but this was ridiculous. I never had a good night’s sleep once in 7 nights. Waking up to turn over and felt battered every morning. Everything was clean but so uncomfortable. This puts me off staying again. Can’t comment on facilities as we went off site every day and were self catering, but everything looked ok.

We went as a family of three with our 2 year old and would return. The apartment was just what we needed for our stay, enough room for the little one to run around, a microwave, fridge and sink etc. we had to report the toilet not flushing and the shower had very low pressure but was sorted straight away. the pools were great and the food was also good. The location was perfect for us, a short walk to the port with some restaurants and bars and then around 15 minutes walk to Cala Millor beach, where we went almost every morning. Cala Millor is full of shops, bars and restaurants so you get the best of both worlds. Our transfer with TUI took around an hour from the airport. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and was perfect for what we wanted.

We stayed 10 nights at this apart-hotel, all inclusive. We had a great time. The staff were excellent - chefs and restaurant staff worked very hard. There was a good choice of food available, it was very fresh and tasty. Slight downside was that there was only one restaurant so it became a bit ‘samey’. But the town was only a very short walk away, so you could get something there for a change if you wanted to (we never felt the need to do this). The maintenance team seemed quick to be fixing things and ground staff worked hard to ensure the complex was clean and tidy- emptying bins regularly. Our apartment was very clean and spacious. Beds were quite hard and showers didn’t maintain temperature, but that didn’t ruin our stay. Entertainment staff were BRILLIANT! Lots of things for our young kids to do and they really enjoyed the holiday.

I really couldn't fault this hotel. I've been to four star hotels that weren't up to this standard. Food was good we ate something different every day. There was a variety of salad,meats, fish and various vegetables The desserts were fabulously presented it was a shame to spoil them. Place was clean with plenty of things to do. The staff were always smiley and always helpful. Can't comment on the entertainment as we walked down to the seafront most nights. About a 10-15 minute walk. There was a great tourist info at the harbour, she was very good. If a bus is used it's best to use a card to pay as it is cheaper than cash. You tap your card when you get on and tap it when you get off

Brilliant hotel, clean rooms, good food and drink, lovely staff, quiet location. Arrived around 3pm,check in was simple, 2 lovely ladies on reception, porter service provided, the hotel is lovely and clean, staff are very friendly, food is good in my opinion, had 3 children with us and they ate well, entertainment was fine. Rooms were self catering 1 bedroom apartments with balcony, very spacious.

Just had a week at the Floriana Resort. The hotel had only been open 1 day when we arrived but you wouldn't know it. The outdoor pools were cold, this is only to be expected in May, but there was a heated indoor pool. The evening entertainment was probably the best I have seen at any all inclusive hotel. Of the 7 nights, there were bought in acts on 6 of them and they were good acts. On the other night there was a quiz, which we won, so that was quite entertaining as well. There was a kiddie disco every night which was great fun and all the children loved it. There is also a good kids club. One of our party is coeliac and this was probably the best hotel we have experienced for gluten free food. All foods are labelled if they are gluten free and there was a good choice. They provide gluten free bread if requested and it is very good quality, and for breakfast if you ask for a gluten free breakfast, you get pastries, bread, toast, cereal, again all very good quality. I ate one of the pastries and I would buy it, it was that nice. The food overall was very good, lots of choice and we were all more than happy with it. The accommodation was good, very spacious, air conditioning, flat screen TV, good wifi, fridge and small kitchen with microwave. If I was being really critical, the beds were a little on the hard side and the cocktails weren't great, but overall it is a very good choice for a family holiday, especially if anyone is gluten intolerant.

The Apartment's are well decorated and Clean, Thursdays and Sundays do not have Maid Service but we only had Maid Service Three days of our Weeks stay, we complained but only a apology from management. The Shower was a problem sometimes it would cut off, but i think there is a water pressure issue, also the apartments only have baths with nylon shower curtain, also no Hairdryer, The Beds where quite comfortable. Quite a few people where not happy with the food, complaining of it being only warm. This Hotel i would say is only suitable for Families as the Entertainment is mainly for Children. The walk down to Cala Bona Sea Frontage is quite a distance and would not suit older clients. This is one of the worst reviews i have ever wrote i am sorry to say. but Cala Bona and Cala Millor are both amazing resorts with a Beautiful Promenade interlinking the Two Resorts with lots and lots of Sea Frontage Hotels and an amazing amount of Quality Shops and Restaurants.
