Hotel Bonavida

Let's keep it simple with a pros and cons review! Pros: cheaper than many other hotel considering position and season (ski season), free ski lockers, 30mt from gondolas (cable car), big, varied and tasty breakfast, nice mountain hotel-like mood with a nice hall with fireplace, pool table books and bar. Personally I dind't mind the fact that the hotel was basically NEVER renewed to modern standards, it has that sort of "early 80's" style... BUT... Cons: ...but that comes with many flaws! Dated furniture and smell of smoke/toilet, luckily not in all the rooms. When we complained about that, we only had a maid showing up with a spray product, as if this would have solved the issue. Unbelievable! Eventually we changed room (tip: go for a TWIN room, chances are it will be bigger). The room look nowhere near as neat as in the pictures. Don't be fooled by that. Overall is a good choice for skiers who don't want to spend crazy money for accomodation.

Good hotel in a great location.

Good old-school workaday hotel. Staff very pleasant. Rooms comfortable though no aircon, which could have been useful given the hot weather at the time. For the price, however, a very agreeable stay. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good and very good value. Free secure parking for my motorcycle which was much appreciated. I would return.

Terrible hotel. We booked a double bed but got two single beds. Very romantic, not. The room was worn down, but when we showed photo from ********** the reply was, we are not responsible for accurancy. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great value. The position of the hotel in relation to the gondola lift was ideal.

What a super hotel!! Me and a friend visited this hotel for a 4 night ski trip, and it could not have been more perfect for what we needed! Firstly, the staff were truly brilliant! Everyone from the reception staff, to the bar staff, to the restaurant staff; everyone one of them were great. Very knowledgable and happy to help, with nice little touches like remembering your regular drinks order at dinner. They all made it a very personable stay. Secondly, the food. We booked a half board meal plan with our stay, which meant we got breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was fab! It was huge buffet selection of anything from fresh pastries, fresh fruit, cooked options and cold meats and cheeses. You then had the use of unlimited fresh ground coffee and fruit juices. A perfect start to any day. Dinner was a slightly different setup, but equally as good. We had a choice of 3 starters and 3 mains every day, with warm bread and olive oil whilst you wait, and then buffet desserts afterwards. They had different choices every day, and they seemed to put in a lot of effort with presentation. Lastly, the room was nice and spacious and furnished exactly how you’d expect in Europe. Very clean and tidy, and lots of wood materials. The hot tub and sauna area was nice. This had to be booked in advance due to covid, but this was better for us as it meant we got it to ourselves. The lobby was nice, especially in the evening. It had a really cosy feel, with lots of comfortable furniture and a nice little pool table. In addition to all of this, one of the best features of this hotel is its location. I’ve never been to a better located hotel for skiing. The walk from the back door to the Gondola station was about 50 metres, which made things soooo easy every day. Plus, we rented skis from Pic Negre 9 which was located there also. It’s a match made in heaven for a ski trip because there’s no wasted time in the mornings, just straight up the mountain. A truly lovely stay at Hotel Bonavida, will definitely return.

Hotel muy antiguo, sin renovación alguna desde hace 30 años. Mala higiene, limpieza en habitaciones prácticamente nula (pelos en las almohadas, en las sábanas etc.) huele fatal. NO RECOMENDABLE. De 3 estrellas? De risa, no llega ni al nivel de albergue. Habitación: 216

Hôtel très bien situé, grande chambre et grande salle de bain. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bien avec un menu qui change tous les jours à un prix raisonnable. Beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner. Grand salon convivial avec feu de cheminée et salle de jeux pour les enfants.

Hôtel avec un emplacement excellent quand on vient pour skier ! Au pied du télécabine où se trouve également 2 loueurs de matériels de ski. Au coeur du village avec accès commerces, restaurants, pharmacie... Les chambres sont vieillottes mais confortables et très propres (bravo au personnel d'entretien). Literie de bonne qualité. Un hic : l'insonorisation et les clients espagnols très bruyants! Le restaurant excellent tant pour le petit déjeuner très varié que pour les dîners avec des choix multiples et une qualité très très satisfaisantes (mention spéciale au chef cuisinier). Les serveurs du restaurant sont extrêmement sympathiques, bienveillants et dévoués : une belle équipe ! Bravo !!! L'accueil à la réception tout aussi respectueux et attentionné notamment le monsieur. Un plus pour les soirées après ski, le salon spacieux avec cheminée, le billard, le babyfoot... A refaire sans hésitation
