White Spruce Lodge by Spring Creek Vacations

Nice apartment and superb location - that’s about it. Woken by construction traffic and plant machinery at 8am every day, right outside our apartment, for the entire day. None of this mentioned when we paid $$$ to book here, and has resulted in the least relaxing holiday we have ever had. This place is not finished!!! Topped off by people partying above us for most of our holiday until 12-1am, and zero noise suppression in the apartment left us totally tired and gutted - what an absolute joke. Great apartment, spacious and well equipped (we were in 103), but the noise was just ridiculous for our entire stay. Gutted. Went home more tired than we arrived. Spring Creek was an expensive mistake for us.

Very spacious and well equipped apartment - however be aware that construction noise and traffic is very real and was literally 1ft from our balcony, and starts at 8am - so if you are after a restful quiet break you may want to look elsewhere. Mini diggers, cherry pickers and other site machinery all in use nice and early…. We had issues with people above us partying most nights, the Spring Creek team (whilst being super polite) could do nothing as the apartment is privately owned - deprived us of sleep for 4 nights straight. Noise suppression non existent, just ridiculous for high end accommodation like this. Canmore is amazing, but this lodge and Spring Creek not so much for us - we had a very tiring 10 days and went home not feeling relaxed. We stayed in 103 on the ground floor.

Excellent lodge. Modern clean and upgraded. We stayed in a 2 BR lodge. The living room was huge and the kitchen was well stocked! A bit far from Banff but a lovely apartment. There is underground parking just round the corner. The office for checking you in closes at 6pm so make sure to get the gate code if arriving late

Wonderful new condo, nice kitchen ,bathrooms, and large living room with great views. Great for families. Within 1 hr drive to Banff. We didn’t get to explore the location but seems like not very many ppl in Canmore, not too many things going on. Caveat- they have a bad check in procedure where they text you how to get there but they gave the wrong address and direction. No lobby, no reception area at the location so it was hard to find. Thank goodness we were able to still get hold of them few minutes b4 closing (8PM), otherwise we would have slept somewhere else. Also, why rate it as 4star accommodation if no 24/7 lobby and we had to take garbage out? It’s ok if we think we rented a discount accommodation but 4star rating?

So relaxing here - a chance to unwind, have a great breakfast across the road, wash your clothes... The only addition would be places to hang clothes and towels in the little bathroom, as there was nowhere to hang and dry towels. The other addition would be some sort of fan/ventilation in the little bedroom as it was quite stuffy at night.

Lovely condo! Brand new, modern, well appointed, huge kitchen/sitting area. Just a 15 min drive from Banff downtown. The condo we stayed had two bedrooms and offered a great value to the 2 couples who traveled together. The folks at the reception were very nice too. They had underground covered parking in the basement. The entrance to the condo and parking were all through an electronic keycode that they send to your cellphone. !

Suite 102 The good: Location (central to everything); spacious suite; heated underground parking; cute shops nearby staffed by very friendly people; walking paths; local coffee, soaps, and lotions provided; quick and easy check-in and check-out The not-so-good: DO NOT stay on the first floor unless you're OK with a constant stream of people walking within feet of your living space as the sidewalk is RIGHT BESIDE the living room and primary bedroom windows; advertised as having a mountain view... that's an overstatement as you saw a mountain peak that the new construction was not blocking (choose a suite on a higher floor); no outdoor furniture was provided for us to enjoy the patio; no dresser in the primary bedroom (previous suite had one... even the most basic hotel rooms have one!); nightstand in primary bedroom is in such poor shape that it looks like it was picked up from a trash pile left on the curb; most basic of TV channels (NO TSN DURING WORLD JUNIOR HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP?!); the suite is starting to show its age and wear... cracked grout in the shower and loose taps in the ensuite, not a full set of glass drinkware (plastic cups were available, though... again, a basic hotel room would provide at least a full set of matching drinkware); I'll admit I'm pretty picky about cleanliness and I was not impressed to see grease drips hanging from the hood fan.

I stayed in a third-floor suite on previous trip and was so impressed with its comforts-of-home-like atmosphere. I was not impressed with this unit at all and left disappointed as it is not worth the $270/night cost.

Perfect location, close to all amenities, close to shopping and groceries. Extremely clean, well equipped and organized. Staff is easily reachable and very quiet ! Beautiful view from our suite. Don't forget to visit the deli and wine store nearby !
