Hotel Cashiers

Stayed 2 nights while playing Wade Hampton. Very cool vibe Motel. Very clean. Definitely in a great location, everywhere is walkable. You must ask for services fyi (they won’t clean your room otherwise). Will definitely stay there again.

This place is just what is described. It’s an old motel that’s been expertly renovated and upgraded with first class linens, personal care items. The property also has a great full service bar. In addition, the 3 restaurants are all good, not to mention the frozen custard! And the staff? If you do need anything, you will be taken care of. If you are looking for something different rather than a resort hotel, this is your place!

Great hotel! The staff were super friendly and it was conveniently located to a little town, restaurants, and hiking. The rooms were well maintained and very cute. Free snacks was an added bonus! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

We have stayed here several times and have had very good service and clean rooms that are effectively laid out. Beekman toiletries and bath robe and slippers are a great idea! The pantry is a good place to get what you need at the spur of the moment.

So happy we stayed in this gem of a hotel in Cashier NC. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. You are welcome at the wine bar. There are 3 great restaurants in the lower buildings. There is a breakfast lunch place Zookeeper Bistro, amazing authentic Mexican food at Chile Loco, Slab Town Pizza and for dessert Crossroads Custard. Plus you can get your nails done and a dry cleaners. Ingles is close by for groceries, small frig in room. All that & I have not got to how great the rooms are. Comfortable bed not too firm or soft. Did not aggravate my fibromyalgia, so I call it a win for the mattress comfort level. Bedding was soft, clean and pleasant to sleep under, no bedding war for the blanket. Shower is nice and hot with a great shower head and water pressure. Simple tub. Very clean in every aspect. Dish for tv service. Decor is simple bright white with nature theme. Every comfort and detail is well thought out. We highly recommend staying here and if we are in the area we definitely will be back. Compare to the other lodging in the area they had reasonable rates. You will not regret this selection.

We were in Cashiers for a family reunion and stayed at Hotel Cashiers based on its location - right in the center of the small mountain town we could easily access coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores plus lots of other cool shops. We could easily drive to so many cool hiking trails and spent our days outdoors. At night, after dinner while the kids enjoyed the WiFi and Direct TV in the room, the parents enjoyed the bar in the hotel lobby - especially the fireplace! As a bonus, it was still decorated for Chris**as and was cozy and lovely. The room was clean with a modern, farmhouse design and plenty of warm water in the shower!

Was just one night - but had everything I needed. Very attentive staff who accommodated my late night arrival perfectly! Great check in and room had everything I needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cashiers. Everyone was so friendly & welcoming. It was clean and decorated so cute. We have a family mountain house nearby, but it was so crowded I decided to book a room. I’m so thankful I did! It was the perfect place to stay for our family vacation!

This little spot was a great find when my husband and I were looking for a weekend away. We booked the king-bed suite and it was perfect! Cozy little seating area, comfortable bed, immaculate bathroom, outdoor seating area just steps from the front door. At the base of the hill (walking distance if you are surefooted), you've got a pizza shop, a breakfast / lunch restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, and a custard / dessert shop. We hiked at Gorges State park, ate at The Orchard and Charlie's Hot Buns while we were in the area. I highly recommend all of those things as well as staying at Hotel Cashiers.
