"One of those basic hotels the French seem to have so many of. In Castries for a ruby match so just a one night stay. Had a single room at the end of a corridor that was the length of the street! But room spacious and bed very comfortable. Only issue - the automatic self checkin system was a nightmare to operate. Joined a queue of people trying to gain entrance / get key codes. Took over half an hour (no staff on duty until later in the day). A slow and quirky system - needs to be reviewed. Otherwise its exactly as it says on the tin."

"Having read recent positive reviews we were disappointed immediately on arrival. Firstly the steep and winding staircase from the street entrance to reach the reception area, and then, many more stairs to reach the 'First Floor' ! No a/c but an electric fan provided. Although the window view overlooks the river it is separated from the bed area by washbasin and w.c, and a toilet, so narrow to squeeze into. Directly under our room a Tapas bar with plentiful outside seating. The noise and music continued until 1.30 am and this apart from the sound of bikes and cars from the street The instruction leaflet in the room did advise to be quiet after 10.00pm to respect the neighbours, as my wife would say "What planet are these people on" The wifi was totally unreliable, I had to use my phone to get a decent signal. Unfortunately not even one good point to report"

"No, very cheap, very badly soundproofed, and microscopic rooms. This is a summary of this stay at the hotel in a chicken cage. Old hotel, absolutely not refreshed. Horrible moquette at the floor of the room. The room is hlm, microscopic, poorly agencyed. 1 only electrical take close to bed .... Super when you are 2.You must shoot the sort that will be able to load your phone by being on the bed. Otherwise we need to put it on the ground and so we cannot use it to call because the take is far from the bed. And if you take the chair, and well courage, it will sweep your back and be rzcroqueville5on yourself .... Small TV in the corner of the room. Total, required to turn your head permanently or to be side. Not practical. Coat not thick when it starts to get cold. No 2nd coat or cover to put in during the night. Heating not put in October, short. A real sketch, a valley alone. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. Frozen croissants, little choice, limited charcuterie. Bref ... All this for €87, it's just scandalous. Something is sure, you have completely disguised me from your brand British Hotel. No confidence and I'll never return there.
