"We booked last minute having had to exit Parque Tepuhueico because it was not good. The hotel was almost empty but he staff were excellent and the food was fine. NIce hot tub which is free but you have a book a time. Good view form the restaurant but of course, as this is Chiloe, the sun doesn't shine."

And all because, after arriving at midnight the day before, I was 10 minutes past the checkout time. Literally, the woman in charge of cleaning the hotel - and one of her sons, who must be a minor and I don't know if he can legally be working in this place - pushed me out of the hotel. I hope this message is read by the owners and managers of the hotel: that woman is NOT in a position to attend to anyone; She does NOT have the capacity OR the willingness to attend to people and work in a space of hospitality. These people CANNOT be working in this place."

"Sizigia is delightful. One of the oldest palafitos in Castro, that has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Everything natural using wood and reclaimed materials. Best breakfast on our trip! The staff are charming and super helpful. It’s a really special spot. Oh and the chocolate and raspberry cake is hmmmmm!!!"
