The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the local dishes. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy chamba. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"Мы забронировали 2 номера, потолок в ванной в одном из номеров был отсыревшим, а балконный замок был сломан, из-за чего холодный воздух постоянно поступал внутрь. Простыни были грязными, после замены простыней персонал прислал еще более грязную простыню. Для второго номера не было ключа от номера, поэтому номер был постоянно открыт. Нам пришлось оставить наши документы и багаж на милость камеры видеонаблюдения и менеджера отеля, нам не предоставили запасной ключ. Не было стакана, чтобы попить теплой воды, номер даже не был подготовлен к заселению, хотя наше заселение было в 5 часов вечера. Худший опыт из всех, никому не порекомендую."

"I have my 1 year old child and I used their room cattle to warm the milk. Afterthat the hotel service boy rudely deny to warm the milk in the cattle. He was very aggressive to me. 1 am there for 3 nights but their behaviour and service was too bad. Please don't waste your journey by going to this hotel. I also asked them to send breakfast in the room also he denied me for that. This is very terrible experience 😭😭😞😞"

"I was completely taken by Brij Villa from the moment I stepped through its doors. There is something wonderfully timeless about its colonial architecture and old-world charm, and yet the property feels warm, intimate and beautifully cared for. Almost immediately I had the feeling that I belonged there. The villa is serene and wonderfully quiet and the attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable. Everything is exceptionally well maintained and the cleanliness is truly top-notch. The rooms are beautiful and incredibly comfortable and I especially appreciated how the renovation has preserved the character and beauty of the original architecture rather than modernising it away. The beautiful hydrangeas blooming around the property only add to its charm. The service deserves a special mention. Sachin, Atul and the rest of their team were exceptionally kind, attentive and prompt without ever being intrusive. Every interaction felt genuinely warm and personal. The food was delicious, but the little ritual of tea with their butter cookies may have been my favourite part - quite possibly the best butter cookies I’ve had with tea! As it wasn’t peak tourist season, there were no other guests staying in the villa’s remaining five bedrooms, which made the entire experience feel almost surreal. For the duration of my stay, it felt as though I had the whole house to myself. Sitting in that beautiful old villa, surrounded by gardens and hydrangeas, with the quiet of Dalhousie around me, felt like stepping straight into Downton Abbey. What impressed me most is the value you get for the experience. This isn’t simply a place to stay it feels like staying in a beautifully preserved piece of history, with wonderful hospitality, impeccable upkeep, delicious food and genuine warmth, all without feeling overly commercial or impersonal. I genuinely didn’t want to leave. Brij Villa is one of those rare places where the stay becomes a memory in itself. I left feeling wonderfully rested, a little nostalgic, and already certain that I’ll be back."

The staff checked on us regularly to ensure everything was perfect while still allowing us to enjoy the meal at our own pace, just as you would expect from a quality restaurant.
