The hotel's lawn barbecue area is built to five-star standards but priced affordably, even lower than typical barbecue restaurants. I noticed that only a five-star hotel could afford to operate at a loss, serving just a few tables a night with only eight staff members. The barbecue was delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and the drinks were reasonably priced. I regretted coming here after eating some roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) and rice noodles in the city; I should have come on an empty stomach to enjoy the barbecue and experience a five-star dining experience. The hotel has ten fast-charging stations, making charging readily available – so convenient! The breakfast was what you'd expect from a five-star hotel, but it leaned towards northern Chinese cuisine, which some Sichuanese people might not be used to.
