We recently celebrated my wife’s 50th having exclusive hire of the baton It was a amazing party The staff were excellent and worked so hard all evening From the 1st booking correspondence between myself and the events team was fantastic right up to the event Staff even helped me set up decorations ect The buffet was beautiful Can’t thank the guys enough for everything

I am utterly disgusted that after check out to receive a email stating we caused damage to the walls. The pictures they sent clearly show its old damage. They took a £50 deposit on check in and advised they will be keeping this due to said mentioned damage. If we had made any I would advise them but this was in the room before our arrival. Absolutely disgusted by the tone of the email received along with the accusation. Was going to rebook this hotel for a group getaway but will not be stepping foot near or again now.

Odd location, on arrival looked like hotel was located in the middle of a new housing estate, was expecting a bit more rural. That said hotel is modern with an attached restaurant and bar. Staff here are very friendly and helpful . Room was new , very clean and well equipped , bed not the most comfortable unless you like an ultra firm mattress . Also air conditioning controls could be a bit more user friendly, took a bit to get a comfortable balance. Bathroom large with a bath and over shower which was really good , good towels and bath robes, found automatic light switch annoying! Goes out if you’re still and glaring if you use toilet during night. Breakfast was in the restaurant which had a good choice and was generally very nice. Had the Sunday roast here which was not so great. Bar is like a sports bar used mainly by locals and quite busy, not really a hotel bar. All that said this was a good hotel and is in a great location as a base to explore Bicester, Oxford , Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. Hopefully my few criticisms are taken as constructive not to the detriment of the hotel as we enjoyed our stay here!

Lovely coffee in the sunshine sat out on the outdoor seating area. Staff were helpful, inside of the “Baton” restaurant is light, airy and clean. Plent lot of space and good range of events running through the week. Little bit noisy from the bowling alley area inside and quite a few of the tables on the patio were wobbly but generally a nice place to sit and grab a coffee if you’re passing through.

Had a gorgeous one night stay here. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and everything we ate was delicious. It was only a 10/15 min drive from Bicester village. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area!

Stayed at the Heyford for 2 nights . The hotel is new spacious and immaculate. The staff are so helpful and friendly especially Tilly Deborah and Cat who went above and beyond. They are a credit to the hotel. On the down side I don’t think the evening menu should be classed at a la carte. The hotel is on a new housing estate which felt a bit out of place.

The Heyford Oxfordshire was a fantastic venue for a two-day training course we hosted. The reception and catering staff are so friendly and helpful and the events team went above and beyond to ensure our workshop went smoothly. It's such an exceptional venue, from the plush furnishings to the quality of the food. In addition, The Heyford have a genuine desire to have a positive impact within the community, which is clear from the regular community focused events held for Mother's Day, Easter etc and from their fundraising activities - they generate cash for local charities which is amazing and such a refreshing approach from a large building organisation. The Dorchester is a housing developer with a heart.

The Heyford is half way for our family to meet up for lunch. What a find! This is the second time of meeting, we have lunch and then bowling to get rid of the children’s energy before returning home. The food, service and venue are all excellent and spotless. We aim to meet here once a year as the staff are wonderful
