"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCIA. Hice una reserva con semanas de anticipacion pues aproveche una promocion en el precio. Llego y me dicen que el precio no era correcto y ademas que no me podian dar alojamineto porque todo estaba ocupado. Me dejaron en la calle solo porque el precio no les convenia y al ser semana santa no quiisieron aceptar mi reserva cuando yo ya habia pagado a Trip por ella. El colmo fue que se negaban a devolverme mi dinero diciendo que ellos tampoco habian recibido el pago, cuando los pagos los hace Trip o ******* hasta que la estadia sea realizada. Tuve que llamar a la policia. CINICOS, INFORMALES y DESHONESTOS."

"Good hotel in Cuenca. Approximately 15 minutes by foot to the historic center. Safe and quiet area. Rooms are nice, but you can hear all the noise from the hall and stairway. A couple of nice common areas."

Hotel Boutique Los Balcones

"A historic building. The building is charming with a number of original features. The room had a french balcony. I was afraid that the street noise would bother me but it did not. The balcony has two sets of glass doors and a solid wooden door. The floor do squeak which is part of the charm I suppose. The bathroom has a large shower, a magnifying mirror and hairdryer. There is a restaurant that I did not try. The staff speaks good English and was helpful in giving directions. The only possible issue is that it is three floors and there is no elevator. There are rooms on the main level. I was given assistance with may luggage when I checked in and when I left."

"It's a hotel located in a good area, across from Supermaxi, and 10 minutes from the airport. I recommend it; I liked the service. The service in general is good, the rooms are comfortable, the price is very reasonable, and the staff are kind and helpful."

"Our first 3 nights in Ecuador was spent at The Yanuncay Hotel in Cuenca. The hotel is a very short taxi ride to Parque de La Madre and all the wonders of the historic district. The hotel manager Marcos was amazing! He made every effort possible to be helpful and accommodating. We had 6 very large and heavy pieces of luggage and he helped us load all of them in our van that carried us to Loja. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy. Thank you Hotel Yanuncay for making our welcome to Ecuador so warm and welcoming. Richard and Donna"
