"We are from the West Coast and this was our 1st stay at Bushmans Rock. The photos does not do it justice. Honestly this lodge is breathtakingly beautiful and so well cared for by friendly staff and security. I had to prep for a show and the chef prepared all my food to specifics and they even let me practise my intro walk in their venue. This is one place who I could ask for all the help I needed to prep and they assisted with the utmost friendliness. We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. An absolute recommendation to families with kids as they have a secured and well equipped play area. The restaurants food was amazing and our room just perfect. Thank you for making this a memorable stay and our go-to place for future trips to Pta."

"Our family trip stay at Mangwa Valley Lodge was amazing. Great service from the reception team and the restaurant team. The hospitality is great and would recommend it once again to anyone who wants to relax in the bushes. How ever I wish you could do a paving or tur road to accommodate our small car. "To some degree, some things were falsely advertised. Firstly, we booked a superior room, which was evidently more priced than a normal standard room, and upon check-in, we were told that a superior room is also a standard room, just from the upgraded rooms. The pictures of the room we had booked (where there is evidently a king bed and a sofa bed) were just for show. Who leaves their house to share a double bed at a hotel? Additionally, on the room description, it stated that there are electric blankets in Winter, and guess what? No electric blanket in sight,I brought this up on their WhatsApp chat on the night of check-in, only for us to receive an extra blanket the following day. No apology, nothing. Moving on to the buffet, on one of the nights, they served Pap and no other alternative to Pap. Never mind that there is no room service, you literally have to walk in the cold to the restaurant, I do not leave my house to go and eat pap at a hotel, unless it is MY preference. The hotel has so much potential; however, it is currently being run to the ground, no wonder there are no more reviews of it on here. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement!"

"Perfectly located in the Dinokeng Reserve, easy to get to various parts of reserve for game drives. Small lodge but peaceful, and good facilities. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Would happily go back again"
