Turay Hotel

Everything was good But bed collapsed soon after arriving . Only real complaint the Wi-Fi was so so poor Had no Wi-F the i rooms . Buy food location staff excellent . No complaint’s

Lovely, quiet, peaceful hotel. Rooms are spacious. Albeit mine was up a spiral staircase and overlooked the restaurant and partial mountain, it was quiet. I would, however, request a different room if I was to stay again. Loved the on-site Serenity restaurant. All the staff at the hotel were lovely. Friendly and warm. Special shout out to Menir (I’m sorry I’ve likely spelt that incorrectly) who was always interested in how I’d spent my day and his service was especially appreciated. As a solo traveller, sometimes we can get a bit overlooked. The hotel is kept clean and the ladies who clean the rooms were very helpful especially on leaving day when they brought my suitcase down the spiral suitcase which was very much appreciated. Breakfast is basic but adequate. A short walk along the river path to town. All in all, I had a lovely stay at the Turay and would stay again, however, as there are only approximately 30 rooms it is necessary to book well in advance as this is a very popular hotel.

This is my first time in turkey with my family and my boyfriend the bar staff ozzy second night we came to Turay hotel I had a piña colada the best piña colada you cloud ever have ozzy is very welcoming and very friendly if you ever wanted a cocktail on holiday ozzy is the one to ask #best holiday and drinks I have ever had

The Turay is a lovely complex, beautiful buildings offering a good level of privacy. The hotel is calm and quiet in a beautiful location close to the centre. Breakfast with sight of turtles and wild life - what more could one want. The staff team are warm, friendly and attentive. We loved our stay!!!!

We were guests at the Turay hotel for two weeks in April. The hotel is lovely, family run and in the most picturesque surroundings. It is situated by the river, with it’s own jetty where you can eat and enjoy the views of the hills across the river and if lucky enough see a turtle and fish swim by. The pool area is lovely with sun beds in the sun or the shade and comfy seats close by if you wish to chill out with a drink and a book. The rooms are comfortable, cleaned daily and fresh towels left by two lovely friendly cleaning ladies. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful if needed. A special mention to Tomas who was always on hand to help or advise and to our superb bar man Ozzie always there to greet you with a smile. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast every day, lots of choice and chef always ready to make you scrambled egg, fried egg or omlette to order. We also ate lunch and evening meals on the hotel jetty a number of times and the food was excellent. “Serenity by the river”, we will be back.

Stayed here end of April for 9 nights with my husband for our wedding anniversary and I only have positive things to say about this beautiful hotel.The setting of the restaurant is on the river which has beautiful views and we saw turtles swimming in the river.We ate tasty breakfast every morning in this tranquil location and also ate some nights and the food is lovely. The rooms are cleaned every day by the lovely friendly cleaning staff and fresh towels left, we were on a ground floor with a small balcony with a table and chairs and a lovely view of the mountains.The pool area is so lovely and peaceful with plenty of sunbeds and including some in the shade. A special mention to Tomas who carried our breakfast trays to the river every morning and he is so friendly,funny and knowledgable.Ozzie who works on the bar is so lovely and friendly and helpful too. We met Mr Turay the owner who is very friendly and warm. I would stay here again Dalyan is a beautiful place and the Turay is a 10 minute stroll on the river into town and a lovely small family run hotel. Thank you Carole and Paul x

An excellent hotel, in a superb location. We knew the food on the jetty was great from eating there on many previous visits to a neighbouring hotel. Thomas was his usual helpful self. First time staying in the hotel. The rooms are lovely, and breakfast was good too. Nice to have omelette or fried eggs cooked to order. Salih the barman is a great asset to the hotel with his friendly banter and excellent service.

This hotel is in a lovely location, very picturesque and beautiful , however the hotel itself was a bit of a disappointment. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and showed to our room by the owner, who was very pleasant, we were a party of 3 adult women ( mum and daughter aged 23 and friend aged 21), the first room on the ground floor near reception over looking the rd was very small and cramped so we asked if there were any other rooms available ,we were taken to a room on the first floor overlooking the pool which was slightly better. The room consisted of 2 rooms with a separating door , but only 1 room had aircon so this defeats the object of having a dividing door as you need to keep the door open between the rooms to allow the air to flow in to the other room ( although it still was uncomfortably hot in the other room) but we managed. The rooms are very very basic and gloomy but also very clean ( the maids work really hard). The pool was nice 👍 seemed to be enough sun beds too, we did get up about 8 ish to secure a sun-bed in a desired spot. The hotel bar lacked a bit of atmosphere but the barman Salah is lovely and tries his best but it seemed he was cautious of playing music at times and the staff seemed very aware of making sure they following the rules set out by the owner. The breakfast was ok , the staff worked hard to please you but don’t expect an English breakfast to be on offer, but we managed with toast and scrambled eggs, there was also fruit cereal cheese and omelettes. Our biggest issue was with the water, the water pressure was so bad that 6 nights out of 10 when we went for a shower on an evening between 6 and 7 we had no water and I don’t mean hot water but no water at all in the shower, we had to wait at least 40 mins between showers , meaning that it took the 3 of us over 2 hours to get ready. This was very frustrating, we reported to reception on numerous occasions and we were told just to wait. On the second to last night I spoke to the owner who apologised but was unable to fix the issue. This problem did unfortunately affect our stay, and for this reason and the poor quality of the rooms we would not return, which is a shame because the hotel is in a great location and all the staff were lovely with exception of Tomas who was a bit pushy and at times was a bit rude to my daughter and her friend. The owner and his son also were very friendly and both lovely and polite at all times. The owners gave us our room free of charge until we left at 8pm which we appreciated. All in all we did enjoy our holiday, we met some lovely family’s and couples at the hotel and Dalyan is a beautiful place.
