Cambria Hotel Detroit Downtown

Nice hotel. We just stayed one night coming from flight from Europe and next day we were off early so I can’t comment too much on position but the hotel is very nice

My wife and I wanted to do a staycation with our two young sons (5 and 7), and we could not have picked a better location. The Cambria is absolutely beautiful! They staff were are courteous and provided excellent service, the ambiance and aesthetics were flawless, and the surrounding amenities and attractions are spot on. I loved everything about our stay! In addition, I was fortunate to meet one of the hotel executives (Nick), and he is the man! Super cool guy, laid back, and showed me that he truly cares about guests having a wonderful experience. That was a tremendous bonus during our time, and I look forward to our next visit. Definitely recommend staying here for any occasion or celebration. A.T.

Omg my friends & I had the BEST day & night at this hotel! Jasmine the manager of the restaurant & bar is who we all give the biggest credit to for our amazing time & review. She was by far one of the best hospitality personnel I have encountered in a long time! As a dual business owner myself, I know how important good customer service is & she knocked it out of the park!!! I felt like I’ve known her forever & watched her treat her customers $ staff like gold. We also want to give a shout out to other staff as well: Dante, Jaime, Rasaan, & Dominick!!! Love, love, loved the decor and elegance. The rooms were great but wish the beds were a little softer. My friends did not have the best experience with room service regarding quality of food (did not receive what they ordered as menu described & quality was sub-par). We would still give this place 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 though overall & we will be back!!! 🥂

Everything was great! Service was excellent. All the employees that we interacted with was top notch! The only thing odd about this hotel is it’s 6 floors but you have to take 2 elevators to access floors 4-6. But other than that it was very nice. Would stay here again.

The hotel is spotless, new, and beautiful! Love the decor. The staff are friendly and helpful. Room has many upgraded features and nice decor. No drinking glasses in bathroom or on the bar. Bed and pillows all very soft, sinking towards the middle of the mattress! Honestly, we did not sleep all night! Do not book Room 611-Banging and sounds like someone running through the halls all night long! Not sure of the source of the very loud noise-perhaps a unit was running/banging on the roof?! Telephoned front desk said they would investigate but continued all night. Informed Jason, manager at checkout and his response was simply, "Sorry." No attempts to address or make amends. Expected more from such a upscale hotel-pretty poor customer service.

Please do not visit this place. A fire inspection was done yesterday and the owner came out to shut down all the hvac units! When my family and I arrived the room was 81 degrees with the thermostat set as 69. They place us in another room and the room was now at 83 degrees. We have been here for over 3 hrs and temperature in the room is 81!! This unacceptable paying almost $300 for a room that is not livable.

The stay was so good all around. The room was great. The service was great. The restaurant where we had breakfast was great. We would definitely stay there again.

The property is new, which is nice. It's noisy, though: you can hear everything in the hallway clearly from your room (and presumably vice-versa). Also, they never cleaned our room on the first day, despite being gone all afternoon and evening.
