A beach front property, close to the Ukunda air***** and all the great Diani sightings. The villas are spacious and we could tell that they had undergone some refurbishment to bring them up to par with modern standards. The hospitality was top notch. The easiest check in we've ever experienced. Villa 2 was amazing & we hope the recommendations we gave on facilities improvement will be effected to give this property the 5 stars. Meals are served in the comfort of your villa which is such a plus!. You also have the option of dining in their restaurant. The ideal place to spend some time chilling out with family. We spent a week here with our two-year-old and the set up was ideal with plenty of space for him to play and explore. The villas have 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, plus an additional bathroom in the living room/ dining room area. I'd definitely recommend this place for families traveling with kids as the villas are very spacious and the staff are very accommodating - you can eat your meals any time you want, either in your villa or in the dining room. The staff are very flexible and understanding - the waiters Lilian and Omar really looked after us. Moses the Manager helped us a lot to arrange excursions etc. It's a very quiet and relaxed property so ideal for people looking for some real chill-out time - the monkeys provide the main entertainment - watch out as they try to grab food from time to time :). Ask for Villa 2 or 3 for ocean views - it's stunning to wake up to a view of the ocean - but even if you end up being in a villa further back, the beautiful beach is so easy to access that it's not an issue if you don't have a permanent view of it. They also have a great area which my toddler referred to as 'the sandpit' - a large sandy area which is fenced from the beach but still has views of it and is very safe for kids to play and parents to relax! We opted for half board which I'd recommend if you're not planning to go out and about too much as food portions are super generous. The swimming pool is small and I imagine when they're full it might get crowded but that was never an issue for us. We had a few issues during our stay like a leaking A/C and no hot water at times, but the management were quick to respond to get things sorted out. Thanks a lot for a great stay!

I can't begin to tell you how much I loved every moment that was spent at The Zubeida. Even the rain didn't dampen the spirits! This was the perfect break to rejuvenate and be calm. Solo trips are always good for the soul. I thought I'd lose some weight during this break but the chefs outdid themselves at every meal. The staff have been fabulous and I have felt utterly pampered. The delicious meals were served in the privacy of my very vast, well-appointed villa. Beach access is easy and the signature white sandy beaches of Diani Beach are evident. You can lounge by the poolside as you sip fancy cocktails or you can watch the waves ebb and flow. I was treated like a VVIP and I will definitely be back soon!

The staff made my stay unforgettable . Every one of them. Such a delight to be around. The property manger Moses ensured that I had everything I needed. Lilian and Collins made sure I never missed a meal :) . Chef David made my birthday special with the tastiest chocolate brownie , chapatis, spinach, samosas - the list is endless! Check in and check out were seamless no paperwork. Flexible meal times, specials are allowed too. Clean beach that’s a stone throw away. Very quiet, secure and serene. They do live by their mantra - a handcrafted experience.

Chances upon this gem of a place. Dropped straight to your room (villa), and paperwork ( very little) done from there. Spacious, roomy , clean and airy. Daniel made check in seamless and always kept an eye on things. Very clean and housekeepers also did an evening turndown. Stocked up with plenty of water. Meals are preordered and the chef, Godwin helped us out even with a vegetarian menu. Food was fresh and delicious. Don’t miss out on the tea- great ginger biscuits. Service was amazing with Collins(outstanding and cheerful) and staff. There are plenty of beds in the villa and in front. Swimming pool is small but can manage a few lengths. Diani stores are nearby and the delivery by bodaboda( motorbikes) is quick if you forget something. Wilson airport is about 15 minutes away and a smooth ride. Will return in a blink

I very rarely leave a review and I know I’m hard to please but I can’t praise enough this wonderful boutique resort. The 2-bedroom villas are huge and well appointed with super comfortable beds. There is a laid back vibe and the service is impeccable. Every member of staff bends over backwards to ensure you have what you need, always with a smile. Every morning there is a suggestions board for lunch or dinner, . The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. The grounds are spacious and there are many places to relax by the pool or on the beach. This is an absolutely perfect place to relax 100% recommend. A truly memorable and wonderful experience. Every single member of the staff are wonderful and could not do enough for us.Thank you Dennis , Collins ,Chef . The whole setting and environment and location were fantastic. Such a relaxing place! Thanks to all of you !!!

We have a family of five - - The staff is a big reason our stay was so pleasant. Dennis, Caroline, and Cathyrine all greeted us upon arrival with welcoming arms, had juice ready and gave a tour of the villa. From the moment we stepped into our villa until the moment we left, we were in a constant happy. We stayed in villa 1: four bedrooms, connecting to the kitchen and common family space. This opened up to a nice size patio with a large outdoor lounge bed overlooking the ocean which offered a nice view of the sunrise. This space always offered shade! The entire property is middle eastern decor designed with a beachy spin. The master suite is spacious - our two masseuses set up in there and had plenty of room. The sink and shower water had salt in it - that was the first for us. The property does not serve alcohol- but Dennis was on point and in touch with the local liquor store to have some delivered. The beach is amazing, water incredibly warm. We went snorkeling with the glass bottom boats and it was a great experience. The food at the Zubeida was very fresh and delicious. Shout out to Lillian, Collins, Henry and Chef - wonderful people doing an incredible job! The morning breakfast was especially wonderful for our family because that is our favorite meal. Lunch was superb - we ordered off the menu, and 4:00 tea was delightful! Dinner always yummy, only recommendation is to add a few more options. We could eat in our villa, poolside, or at the restaurant. Villa was preferred for us to spend private family time. Poolside was pleasant with the music and overall vibe. The grounds were well manicured- we tipped the landscaper who is there every day! I cannot remember his name, but so friendly, happy, non-invasive. Our experience here in one word would be tranquil and we left fulfilled with highlights, reflections, appreciations, and revelations. Thank you Zubeida staff - we send you our love!

My family stayed at Villa No 2 with a direct view of the sea. We had a very lovely time, thanks to the absolutely wonderful staff, Patrick, Dennis, Lilian and the rest, who made our stay very comfortable. The food was exceptional with a wide variety to choose from. The chefs were extremely accommodating to any requests. The villas are wonderfully furnished and you can hear the soothing sound of the ocean waves from the villas. The property has direct access to the white sandy beaches of Diani and my family loved the morning and evening walks at the beach as well as the beach access to the various beach restaurants around the Diani area.

Lovely place that is absolutely peaceful and tranquil, but the villas could generally do with a bit updating. Food was average and nothing to wow, that said, the staff were delightful and really good, special shout out to Henry, who made our stay memorable.
