Apartamentos Los Telares

Nos encantó el sitio. Apartamento muy espacioso marcado con 202, en realidad una suite con cocina, electrodomésticos y grandes ventanales a la montaña, bajo los cuales se encontraban plantaciones de plataneros. A 15 minutos Agulo y en el mismo tiempo se accede al parque de Garajonay. Servicio de desayuno bajo petición que depositan en una estante abatible que hay justo fuera de la puerta.

We were looking forward to staying for 5 nights in the quiet valley of Hermigua but found the hotel to be very noisy with poor soundproofing between rooms. We had a room next to family with young children who screamed the place down so much we asked to move rooms but the noise carried throughout the building as well as other guests meeting in bedrooms chatting till late so not a restful stay. One of the few hotels I was glad to leave and sorry we’d booked. It’s sad as the place looks ok from the outside.

Very nice and quiet place to stay. Away from crowds and noise. I highly recommend it to those who don't like crowded places and are looking for some peace and tranquillity. La Gomera is from now on my favourite island.

We came back again to our favorite Los Telares "old" suite nr.1. with pool and mountin wiew. This is an lovely suite with an large balcony in old canary style. We orded breakfast witch was excellent and brought up to us (54 steps) in an basket every moorning! The bed is good to sleep in an the bedroom has an door out on to the balcony. This Year for the first time we heard rain in Hermigua laying in our bed! NICE! The pool and the garden is under this suite and we used the pool every day as the garden. An bee bite my wife and we needed to go to an hospital. The Help from the stuff in this case was exceptionally good. SO now in spanich!! PERO sin el personal este lugar no sería nada. GRACIAS Humberto, Ramón, Julia y María por todo!! Nos vemos el año que viene otra vez!

These Apartments are situated near the top of the Hermigua valley, on the north side of La Gomera, convenient for touring that side of the island. They are situated on a steep hillside, overlooking the banana groves in the foot of the valley, with views of the steep mountains beyond. There are lots of options for walking in that valley. We stayed in a Suite that had a large comfortable bed, easy chairs and a great view from the large windows. The bathroom was functional and the kitchenette adequate, as we only made breakfast and lunch there. Strangely, the pool was across the road, where other apartments were located, but it was sheltered and pleasant. The restaurant was separate, about a 5 minutes walk down he road, which was not very convenient, having to go out at night. It was pleasant though, and had a reasonable choice of food

Amazing stay on a magical island! Stunning mountain views from our apartment, lovely furniture and bedding, big bathroom and plenty of towels. Breakfast was really good too, everything was sourced locally and served in reusable pots. We didn’t really interact that much with the staff, but those whom we’ve met were very nice. Location a bit far from the centre, but hey - don’t visit La Gomera if you’re not into walking! Gracias Los Telares for a truly wonderful time. We are coming back!

Our little apartment was so peaceful surrounded by the stunning views of the mountains. The breakfast delivered to our door was just right, and could also work as a takeaway for anyone itching to get out and explore. Our only regret was not having an extra day to enjoy the pool!

I really enjoy my 3-night stay in this nice place. Warm welcome, Well equiped studio with mountain view. Perfect location for hicking. Top class room-service breakfast . La Gomera and Hermigua particularly is that kind of place you’ll keep in your heart.

Worth the price of 150 Euros for three nights in Jan. Simple basic rooms with everything you need for a few nights self catering, (although no microwave or oven). Two small single beds put together (which also moved apart easily so not easy to cuddle up as a couple). Self check in was simple, reception open from 9am to 11am where you can also hire walking poles. One the first day our TV and heater was broken. Instant replies on WhatsApp and a heater provided immediately. The TV was never fixed (but we could watch Netflix on our phones as the Wi-Fi was good). Water pressure was a bit hit and miss in the shower, but the water was hot and the bathroom was clean. The lounge area was comfortable with a good selection of books to read, and other guests very respectable so it was quiet. The views are stunning, great to have a balcony., but be aware that as this is in the mountains it rains a lot. There are lots of walks you can do from Hermigua, We did Ruta 37, which is a 7km round trip but as it had been raining for two days prior the route was treacherous in some places and it took a lot longer than the suggested 4 hours. Definitely take walking poles and be prepared for this route to be incredibly steep near El Cedro. Coming back down is worse because of the slippery surfaces. For comparison, up and down El Teide in Tenerife I would rate 6/10 for difficulty, but this I would rate 9/10 (I am an average middle age slightly overweight hiker). Definitely go to Los Telares restaurant whilst you are there. The BEST food and great vegetarian selections. NB: Not many people speak great English in LA Gomera (and why should they? - but if you are used to Los Christianos this may be a surprise).
