"Great location. Quiet, clean rooms, air-conditioned with a comfortable bed. Great service from the breakfast staff. Slow check-in, due to a sudden influx of guests at the same time. Price was a little higher than expected as all hotels in the area were, due to demand for rooms from visitors to the Goodwood Festival of Speed (the Guildford cycle race the same day may also have been a factor)."

"Great service and stay! Love the dinner and drinks there too. Also super super nice tea coffee snacks available and love the shampoo/body лужоу in the room. However, a bit uncomfortable as I had a suitcase living on second floor but no elevator. Также нет никакого спортивного / любого общего упражнения. Но все же большой опыт в целом."

"A great location and very friendly, professional staff. Nothing was too much bother for them. We had a premier plus room on the 2nd floor which was lovely, a comfy bed and a spacious room which felt clean. We had an evening meal and breakfast in the adjoining beefeater and couldn't fault it at all. The only downside for me was that the road noise did bother me during the night as I am quite a light sleeper so would ask to be the other side of the hotel next time."

"When i actually did sleep the bed was very very comfortable. I was kept awake by every creeking floorboard from the room above. The flushing of the toilet and the shower running. Then my shower flooded the room because it had been left with the paddle pointing out and on so when i pushed the on button it sprayed everywhere. I had to go to reception in my coat and . i asked for a hairdryer, because i was soaked by the shower, in my clothes as i was just testing it first, and got tutted at. Sense of humour failure at 6.30 in the morning with little sleep. Also facing the mainroad, so car noise im not used to. Not the best experience. Glad i wont have to stay again. It looked nice from the outside. But i would say its a boarding house, not a hotel."

"Was there for my son’s graduation. A lovely hotel with huge and comfortable room and a wonderful view. We saw a deer from our room! That was a cute touch to the stay!! A little bit far from the town centre but if you don’t mind taking the bus and see Guildford a little bit more, then its a plus point. There’s a big Tesco down the road which was convenient. The staffs were all so pleasant and helpful! All in all we had a very happy and stress free stay at Holiday Inn Guildford. Tq."

"Gardens are pretty , lobby is nice rest is very dated. Carpets worn out and faded, rooms reasonable size, decent size bathroom. Staff I guess are new. The aircon jn the room was not working and strangely this wasn’t picked up when the room had been prepared for us. And this was the heat wave weekend as well. After been told of the issue, they assured it would be fixed- wasn’t . We couldn’t get hold of anyone in reception over phone - had to go downstairs to find someone. The aircon controls from the rooms are inactivated and they seem to be regulated from the office . The staff couldn’t figure out the problem. I had to be firm and tell them to either fix it or arrange a different room. 2 rooms were shown to us- one was in a maisonette it seemed at the fares of a convoluted corridor, the other was a few doors away - had a strange smell. Air con was ok not the best but just about to get through the night. Not run professionally and needs some proper maintenance figure out the problem - looks like not been serviced."
