Hotel Khaosok and Spa

On the surface everything is ok, yes.... BUT if you like the loud noise of the road at the swimming pool...you have to pay only in cash, this and other details look dodgy, the pool does open at 8 am and close at 6.30 pm it is written nowhere, I personnally booked there because I love to swim early morning, at least from 7 and after the day activity so at this hotel forgot about it. the photo of the pool is far from the reality lol not that big. The room is real dark, We had to ask for towels after house cleaning, the sheets had spotted... The guy was really suspicious with everything, not comfortable at this place., they almost forgot to give the key deposit back, glad I had a shake before leaving lol

David and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Khoa Soc hotel and spa. The accommodation blends in with the surrounding eco reserve and we felt like we were living in a rainforest. Mr Choy,manager,helped us choose unique experiences including an elephant encounter and bamboo rafting trip to alcove where local pancakes made of rice flour and coconut were served. We also enjoyed an interesting night canoe journey and saw mangrove snakes...safe reptile encounter

It is our Thai favorite hotel and we will definitely come back here! the location in the heart of the vegetation, the support for all our activities (custom and private, and the price is the same everywhere in Khao sok), everything is done to allow us to think of nothing. Mr Chot is an exceptional host, a real crush, we felt like we were with family! the setting is incredible, the rooms absolutely lovely and we didn't have a single animal or mosquito even though we were in the middle of the jungle! the swimming pool and the greenhouse are adorable, every little touch perfectly thought out. We had a divine massage at the spa and all the excursions were incredible (day at the lake, caves, trek, canoe...), it is far from the small village with its restaurants and bars but we preferred the a**osphere of the hotel in the evening and there are taxis that lift you for 50 baht/pers.. thanks again Mr Chot and see you soon! Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting the National park. Everything was organized for our trip to the National Park by the hotel, they kindly let us store our bags there while gone over night. Food was out of this world, so healthy and fresh. Hotel it’s self is beautiful. The manager and staff where so helpful and nice. We spent a month traveling Thailand and this was a major highlight. Just amazing.

The rooms are okay but pretty basic. One shower was the first day cold. Next days half warm. The hotel is outside of the village which we knew but is not so convenient is you want to have dinner in the village. The hotel provides a shuttle but only till 5 pm. The main issue I have with this hotel is that the manager is really pushing tours. Apperently they make a good margin on this so they really try to push you in tours. Also if you ask for transportation to the village the price is almost double when you arrange somewhere else. In my view not a good and clever way to service your clients. In my experience Khao Sok is overall developing in the wrong direction. Not really friendly like elswhere and really expensive tours that are not all that great. The nature is beautiful but I would only recommend to go there if you don’t get frustrated with the cons mentioned above.

We stayed at this nice property for three nights which is located outside of Khao Sok town and that makes this a nice peaceful resort in the national park. Twelve rooms are available on the property and though we were a couple we booked a two room cottage as we desired greater space. However naturally these were designed as two separate rooms for two couples. This being in the national park obviously does not have the same comfort level of city hotels. However it does have a very good feeling of being in the park, with a lot of trees and vegetation. The restaurant on the property has very limited choice for food which is of a lower standard than one would expect on Thailand. The scooter that we hired from the property was not in great shape and a bit old compared to other rentals in Thailand. The manager is always available and willing to help with all the information you require on his finger tips. The other staff are also very obliging. A nice property to stay at if you are willing to compromise on the food a bit. No restaurants in the immediate vicinity, walking distance.

Great, memorable experience all the way around. Facilities very comfortable and unique in rainforest. Helpful and friendly staff. Chor and his staff were super helpful. I feel like we made a friend. And the best food we had in Thailand! Important due to the remote location in national forest.

If you are travelling to do one of the Khao Sok tours then I couldn’t recommend this place enough! The hotel rooms are huge (about 35m square) and extremely clean. They are located deep into the hotel grounds (almost jungle like) which is amazing because you are away from the road but it feels as if you are immersed by the nature. The showers are spacious and are warm (if you travel around rural Thailand then you will know this is a luxury). The swimming pool is by far the cleanest pool I’ve seen in Thailand and is a great spot to unwind! But…the main thing we were impressed by was the friendliness of the host - his name was Chot! I’m honestly blown away by how much he went above and beyond for us whether it be booking the tours, transport or renting the bikes. As soon as we arrived at the hotel he ran out to carry all our bags and made us feel super welcome. He told us great stories about the local area and was super informative. I would have stayed here just for this above all the other wonderful things the hotel has to offer! I will be recommending the hotel to all my friends and if I’m ever back in Khao sok it will be the first place I come back to. Thanks Chot 🤙👋

Hi! Sergi and myself, Clara were amazed by the place and the people. The place itself was super beautiful and peaceful. All the facilities were nice, the restaurant, the swimming pool, the room. Since we've been in Thailand this is the BEST place we have been so far. When we checked in, they show us the room. It was so tidy, clean and without any insects. Later on we could enjoy and relax at the pool and enjoy some really nice food at the restaurant. The food was delicious and in big quantities. Also, you feel you are in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by trees, green and the sound of nature. The people that was working there, ALL OF THEM where so kind, smiley and helpful all the time. They helped us booking activities in the Khao Soak National Park, they were so kind that they helped me going to the doctor. They were the absolute best of the place. Francisco, from Tarragona, runs the place and he and his employees are really nice people. Definitely a place we want to come back and we highly recommend, not just for all the facilities and quality of the place, but also for the nice and kind people working there.
