"My wife and I went to the Outer Banks for a day and a half adventure that involved needing a hotel room. I chose shutters based on being located near one of the music venues we would be visiting. We are both free pleased with our stay. It was of course in the winter and off-season so we didn’t have any crowds anywhere which was perfect for us.    It was everything we needed and expected and nothing we didn’t need. It was perfect."

"Great view of the ocean. OBX is older mom and pop establishments so it won't have the feeling or amenities of the big hotel chains but it has what you need. Clean room, great beach access and a refreshing pool. Beach was not crowded and had lots of shells. I checked with the hotel front desk, and they said that they no longer serve breakfast, but that Trip.com does not update the information. The hotel itself was in a great location, and I enjoyed the beach within walking distance."
