Kipriotis Aqualand Hotel

we absolutely loved staying over at Kipriotis Aqualand, we stayed for 1 week and it was fab. staff were very welcoming especially Sofia and her husband who were so so nice and friendly! the food was lovely with lots of variety to choose from. 4 amazing swimming pools along with fun entertainment like volley ball, pool aerobics and table tennis. our room was great with a huge balcony and huge big rooms and bathroom aswell. where our room was however there is a big hill to walk up and down to get to the restaurant etc. the hotel is also located on a few steep hills but the staff would offer to drive you up and down to the bus stops etc.

Came here 9th-16th June we arrived at 2am due to a delay and were the only people to get off our coach here. There was no food or water on arrival which is unusual not even a sandwich or a bottle of water apart from one in the room between 4 of us. I’d already asked for a room near the facilities as I’d read reviews about the climbs to the rooms and I’m glad I did! The hotel is right at the top of a hill and it’s steep slopes to get around, which is a nigh**are with a pram so be wary of this before travelling with babies/toddlers. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and there’s nothing around no shops, bars etc except for a mini market on site that has the bare minimum and closes at 6pm. We ended up getting a taxi in to kos town most days/nights and walked there and which takes around about 40 mins. There are nice tavernas and beach bars further up but the beach is crap, shingle and stones and there’s only a few sunbeds on each one. The food at the hotel was a mish mash or weird crap that wasn’t labelled and did not cater for kids at all, not even chips until our last day. This hotel is mostly for Eastern Europeans who think they own the place and the entertainment at night was about 20 mins of mini disco and a few acts on but nothing special. There is no teen club or kids club on at the moment and the amphitheater is closed so all the entertainment is at the top bar which is cramped and no chance of getting a table if you arrive abit later. Snacks during the day are about 2 trays of hard sandwiches and cake that go within minutes. The staff and cleaners are lovely and make a fuss of the kids but the bar staff are miserable. There’s a bus that goes down to the beach and back throughout the day but they’re aren’t many seats. Kos town is fabulous there’s loads of bars, restaurants, shops and a gorgeous harbour. The trip to bodrum for the day is a must but there’s no much else to do here even the pools aren’t the best they’re too deep and the slides/splash park become tedious after a while and depending on which lifeguard is on duty they change the rules. Would only recommend this hotel to people who want to literally sit by the pool for a week or two but even the alcoholic drinks are watered down. Hopefully it was just teething problems after being closed for 2 years and things improve for people who have booked here In the future.

The food was varied and very tasty, the room was large and bright but above all, the attitude of the staff was phenomenal. Sophia Minas and Katrina in the dining room, Meleta the breakfast chef, Yannis the lifesaving driver, Jenny and the stunning Maria at the reception, all courteous, smiling and helpful above and beyond with every request. Disliked · The room was not very clean. There were some things that were surprisingly considered extra like, a safe in the room or simple cocktails and even a water bottle

Excellent food, Katarina and Sophia were impressive has floor host, friendly and always smiling....Definitely a resort for family with kids and not for couples. Taxi cost 9 euros into town. Cleanness was on point re: -room 1130 "great sea view". Our assigned house keeper (Lola), I think :) she made our stay wonderful, our room was made up daily! The ladies on receptions staff were welcoming and cheerful. The manager kindly allowed us to check out late and was willing to go that extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. A week well spend and excellent value for money. Shout out to the shuttle bus man, he gave us some good tips about the resort.

Hi My family and I returned from our family holiday this morning. We were due to fly out to kipriotis aqualand in kos on the 3rd of May however I had to change the date due to issues with my daughter's passport. I was charged £580 to change the date, we changed to the 3lst of May. On arrival to the hotel, we were greeted with a hotel that opened that day so my question is where we going to be sent on the 3rd and to be charged that amount is quite frankly wrong. This was the start to a holiday from hell, we arrived at 2am with a child to be dropped off at hotel that was not ours, we were told to wait 30 mins to be then collected again. On arriving to kipriotis aqualand we were greeted with several angry families at reception. Our toilet was broken No air con and told it was in our contract No Internet No mini mart or any other shop open I have photo evidence Reception staff very rude and not helpful No entertainment as advertised to be told it was not ready yet Food was good Only one bar open again not as advertised Two hour wait for taxi to miss our boat trip and reception staff promised they had booked it several times and did not. When our taxi did arrive we got in and reception demanded we get out to give to another family My daughter and other children have blisters all over their hands and feet Room was NEVER CLEANED only fresh linen to do ourselves Only daytime activity was table tennis and that took 4 days due to having no bats, they had no equipment for any activity The poor entertainment team had no resources for anything Amphitheatre broken and never opened My list is endless at being sold a hotel that at this current time does not exist. I truly believe when everything is working this possibly a good hotel But to open on our arrival with nothing ready is wrong and false advertisement I have since read what is wrote on your website, the holiday we thought we were buying was not there I would rate this holiday a 2 star As a family we are devastated and would like an explanation Get Outlook for Android
