The hotel was amazing, the location superb, but the reception staff should reconsider their day jobs... After a 6h drive, I'm tired and would like to feel some kind of friendliness, or at least a greeting when i get to the hotel. Instead I was welcomed by a lady who couldn't look up to say hello, no smile, no warmth, no "hope you enjoy your stay"... she was miserable and clearly didn't want to be there...
On the checkout, same thing again lady wouldn't say hello, smile, nothing... and then had to wait 30 mins whilst she sorted out a financial issue with another customer. There were 3 of us waiting in a queue, whilst 6 other staff members kept walking in and out, but none would attend to us... Maybe I was unlucky, but the service really shocked me and it's a huge shame, as I don't want to go back to a place where my family and I don't feel welcome...
