"Superb hotel in a great location close to the city centre. We were in the suite. Expensive, but very comfortable! Operation of the curtains and lighting is a bit complicated and deserves instructions. For this price, by the way, I would include breakfast in the room rate."

"We came only for the spa, paying for a package that was more expensive because it included a 1-hour private spa session... The truth is that it was disastrous, nothing worked, the water was COLD and there was no one in the hotel or in the spa that could help us or give us a towel or information, even though we called the phone and so on. It was dirty from the previous session or the day before... Cigarette butts and towels, among other things. The room was not bad, but the shower, after leaving the spa ice cream, worked quite poorly too (the shower head was broken). And as for the breakfast buffet, it was good. ABSOLUTE DISASTER, the only good thing was the staff was nice... The hotel is good, but extremely run down..."

"Hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Our room had a terrace with a patio table and chairs. The common area on the bottom floor had a full kitchen, coffee machine, and vending machine. The front desk has limited hours. In the afternoon, once the front desk has left, hotel staff is available via intercom."

"We stayed here for three nights in May. The location is great, if a little noisy, because it is right on the Calle Ancha which is a party route. The apartment is very well-insulated though, we just heard people shouting a few times (and someone upstairs was clomping around very early in the morning). Beds are quite comfortable, and the AC was great to have because opening windows wasn’t an option at night. Individual AC in a hotel room in Spain is unusual and would be a big selling point in summer. Decor is very quirky, not always functional. Tippy little nightstands, tree stumps for a coffee table, nowhere to put things in the bathroom. One weird thing was that the towels were so worn out they were basically rags? You just don’t expect that in this price range. We also couldn’t figure out how to use the induction stovetop, and I was unable to comunicate the problem in either English or Spanish. It may have simply been broken. We enjoyed our stay here, but for more than three nights, I’d probably go for less style and more substance, in a quieter location."

"The hot thing about this place were the location (right close to downtown and the historical part, with walkable distances everywhere) and the price (pretty affordable when compared to other options). The check in was also pretty easy to go through and fast, something that worked for us as we got into the hotel quite late (after 11pm). There was no real person there, though. The downside: 1. I visited during the second week of December and, though really cold outside, they just turned the heat on twice a day. I felt cold and couldn't sleep that well. 2. We were given a facing-the-street room without any sound blocking, so I could hear the cars and people talking, waking me up a few times. Also, there's internal sound blocking as well--you will hear TVs and other sounds from people. So the quality of sleep was really put into question here. 3. The room was just ok--not as you see in the pictures, but with older painting and decoration 4. The mattress was not comfortable, a little used, not providing good sleep quality If you're really short on budget and don't mind other people's sounds and external sounds, this might be a place for you. I will not go back to it."
