Very comfortable clean and good amenities. Lovely kind staff and great location .our room backed onto some construction work so to be mindful of this if that’s something that would bother you but that was only in working hours as expected so caused no problems for us. Would definitely reccomend and be returning .

I was supposed to be staying tonight. I booked two weeks ago and they phoned me whilst on train to say either pay another £166 or cancel ! They messed up then tried to charge me double what *********** were charging. Appalling ! Do not use . Judging by previous reviews I dodged a bullet anyway!

I was travelling with my wife and children! Location of the hotel is great however on the first day we had to skip the bath because the shower wasn’t working! Need to point out that our room was in the underground which was under construction with only our room almost finished! And to finish a mouse entered my room on our last day, it passed in front of my wife and run by the side of the bed entering in a big hole behind the bed! Such a terrible experience! Don’t waste your money in this hotel!

I saw the awful reviews and was dreading this stay after my husband booked it, but was pleasantly surprised. Not sure what you would expect for this ridiculously cheap price in such a prime location - most hotels are at least double the price round here. The bed was comfortable, room was warm, shower was fine, and bathroom clean. We wanted something cheap and basic, as we had a late night and early morning so didn’t need to “enjoy” the room.

The hotel is a shocker and possibly only good for large hen or stag do’s who really don’t care but need a base. We were originally put in the wrong room on the top floor and no lift so we had to take an our suitcases up 6 flights of stairs. 4 single beds were lined up against a badly marked wall, the raised ‘kitchenette’ was a trip hazard with large *****s of it peeling up off the floor. The bathroom was ridiculously small, with a blocked sink and the water was only able to come on at one temperature - scalding! The heating in the room was excessive to the point that we needed to keep the peeling windows open day and night in the middle of Dec. After complaining we were moved to a ‘suite’ the next day. This had 7 beds in it, two put together as doubles. In the middle of the room was a boxed off bathroom with an incredible amount of dirt and peeling paint, it was so poorly configured that it was nearly impossible to get in the shower - which again had a limited temperature range of only scalding. This time we were provided a plank of wood to prop open the window as the room was oppressively hot. TheTV was tuned to the Russian language only, and although we did ask for it to be changed it wasn’t, however the 24 hour banging from upstairs and the sides provided all the ‘musical’ entertainment needed.

I booked this place because of the price and from the photos I seen, I had a email from them to ring and up and confirm an arrival time. When I rang I didn’t get a good vibe straight away, they answered the phone like they was talking to a friend “Yeah, what’s up” is what was said when they answered. From the outside this place look alright, walked in and spoke to someone about checking in and he just went to the stairs and started shouting at the top of their voice for someone to come and check me in. Got to the room and 1st thought as what have I booked? A deluxe studio? Walked into a dingy room with a fridge/sink/microwave/hot plate and a chair with white paint on it, tiles coming up on the ceiling. The bedroom was just as bad, 2 beds that wasn’t very comfortable and looked like they had seen better days. The bathroom looked quite new, looked lovely. Or so I thought, the shower had 2 temperatures scalding hot or freezing cold and the shower head had water coming out of about less than half of the holes in it and it was coming out in every direction. All in all I wouldn’t stop here again, I would pay more and stop somewhere different.
