I've stayed at 3 of the 4 citizenM properties in London now. This is on par with the Bankside location. Its location is very good for getting around as well as good distance from Liverpool station. The top level views are fantastic.

The property is very nice, clean, and covenient. We had an isue with the climate in our room and in the middle of the night they switched us to a new room. No muss, no fuss. They did not offer us anything besides a breakfast the next morning (and we already had plans) for the inconvenience. Other than that it was a really great room.

I booked this fairly last minute and priorotised location over anything else so my expectations were pretty low. But having neber stayed in a CitizenM before I was pleasantly surprised. Though the rooms are quite small and initially have a 'student accommodation' vibe, everything is highly practical, well thought out and of excellent quality. Managing the rooms lights/media/blinds from the ipad is a nice touch. Given them proximity to a railway line and in a noisy part of town, I didnt hear a single noise from within my room. With the blackout blinds, comfortable bed and nothing in the room making any weird noises like some hotels, I had the best sleep in a hotel that I've had for a long time. The check in/out experience was good. Its a kiosk but there are staff there to assist you. I was lucky enough to have the same person check me in and out and she provided a genuinely warm welcome. All of ky other employee interactions were positive. I wouldnt pick it for a romantic getaway for two, but if you are travelling solo, or for work or just a quick break for shopping and sight seeing, its a great hotel in a great location and good value for money. Will stay again

To be honest, everything about the place for the most part was lovely, I even had a few beers from the 24 hour bar after the rest of my cohort had gone to bed and the staff were fantastic. The only gripe that I have is around the design of the room itself, which was priced at somewhere near £170 for one night, which would be fine had the toilet not been stationed literally about 1 metre from the bed and with a 2 inch gap running below the door offering absolutely no privacy whatsoever. As you can imagine this was not conducive to a romantic night's stay. Que sera.

We absolutely loved our stay here .. we were welcomed and looked after so well, the room was quirky, fun and clever, with loads of storage space the bed was incredibly comfortable…can’t think of one negative at all … brilliant !

Love staying at a citizenM and the Shoreditch location was no exception. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Good location, decent size shower and nice features. However, lack of in room tea/coffee making facilities and lack of pillows provided. They did provide extra pillows when requested but you had to go to reception to request this as there is no phone/ability to do it in the room via the iPad. Additionally while the iPad that controls the TV, lights etc is fun and novel the fact you can’t get the TV guide up is rather annoying and frustrating. The casting ability was a plus though. Room was clean and decor was funky albeit the room was somewhat smaller than expected. Overall the lack of room service, tea/coffee in room detracted from what would have at least been a four star experience with the quirky interiors. Alas as fun as that was I’d rather have had the ability to have room service and coffee/tea facilities than having the ability to change my lights to all the colours of the rainbow!

We had a good stay at CitizenM Shoreditch. Great location for exploring the local area. Thanks to Charlie who went the extra mile to offer great customer service.
