Park Hotel Airport

For the purpose and price we couldn’t have asked for more. A family of four and our flight arrived really late and I had asked by email earlier, whether walking to the hotel would be an option (it wasn’t really) and was offered a free lift from the nearby gas station, which was great! The hotel rooms were tidy and the hotel was quiet. The host (owner) was extremely helpful and friendly. A croissant and coffee breakfast was included, and first we got a lot of helpful tips and options on how to get to Brussels, elsewhere and back to the airport, the host offered to drive us to the tram station to get to Charleroi center and then proceeded to take us all the way!

I don't think I met the person everyone in the reviews are raving about, but possibly his son. At any rate, he was friendly and helpful as well. The delivery/pick-up service to the gas station near the airport is a nice gesture, but the hotel itself is really not as great as it seems from the reviews. The room was clean, yes, but there's no A/C, the bathroom needs renovation and the TV doesn't work. I also missed out on the breakfast buffé, with the argument that "everyone else at the hotel is leaving very early so I'm the only one eating breakfast". I was offered a discounted personal breakfast which was OK, but still. But it's shortcomings aside, I wouldn't mind staying here again for a single night should I need to fly early from Charleroi sometime in the future.

Great place, great staff! Difficult to reach but if you call the owner he will pick you up! Amazing room with balcony and bathtub! Will for sure come back!

This is the best hotel experience we have ever had. The rooms are super clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. But it is the owner that makes it a 5 star hotel for us. He went above and beyond what we expected, not only picking us up at the airport and dropping us back at 4am but helping us to get a meal in the evening by driving us to a local restaurant and collecting us when we had finished our meal. We cannot thank him enough for making our stay so trouble free and comfortable. All the reviews we read are completely accurate. This hotel is a real gem.

We stayed at the lovely hotel this month I wanted to point out that the hotel owner and his wife are lovely professional people who run a very clean hotel and are attentive to any matter. The hotel owner is really suited to the hospitality area and attentive to everything. I will always recommend the hotel to friends so I chose to share this with you.

The Hotel Owner welcomed us at the entrance & was surprised that we had paid €20 for a 3km journey from the Airport ( This Hotel offers an Airport Shuttle whenever possible or organises a cheap taxi to collect you). The Hotel is very clean with well appointed rooms that are very comfortable with superb ensuite bathroom. The Hotelier goes above & beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, nothing is a problem & he makes the hotel guests feel valued & there is a real homely feeling at this Hotel. Breakfast was offered & the Breakfast Coffee was the nicest coffee I have ever tasted. As I said I liked Orange Juice I was given Freshly squeezed Orange. I would highly recommend this Hotel & it is very bespoke in that the Hotelier is very keen to have a certain type of guests that appreciate the opulence of the Hotel.

Maybe it’s not the perfect hotel, but it is very clean and the host is an incredible person. It is a hotel ran by the owner and his family, they make everything to make you feel comfortable. It seems everything they do, they do it with love and passion. I personally don’t need anything else for a hotel near the airport until the next flight arrives. The owner makes the experience great!

As noted by other travelers, the manager/owner and his son make this hotel worth booking. A bit challenging to get to hotel as the bus that passes it does not stop directly in the airport (need to go to main road). We paid $20 for a taxi. And the room had some small things that were not in great condition. However, the room served its purpose which was to easily catch an early morning flight and had reliable internet for a Zoom meeting I had. Also, the room had a tea kettle and coffee/tea packets and the owner gave us bottled water upon arrival and upgraded us to a double bed as I reserved a twin by mistake. For no charge, he also offered us coffee and a croissant before heading the the airport. Finally, his son took as to a nearby restaurant when we said we needed to get dinners and offered to pick us up when we finished although it was under a 10 minute walk because it was freezing temperature. The restaurant (the new vintage) served good food!
