The Bulls Head Hotel

Perfect for what we needed! Situated across the road from Piccadilly station and shopping mall so ideal if traveling in by train! Close to a tram stop and close walk to the city circle. Room with bathroom was small but very clean and lovely decorated. All the staff we saw were lovely!! So helpful, accommodating and up for a laugh! Breakfast was simple but nice. Everything we needed was available. Made and taken back to our room! The pub doesn’t open until 12. So keep that in mind if arriving early and there are only steps to the rooms but we were offered to leave big bags downstairs if needed and the lovely staff helped carry them down for us when leaving! Pub is lovely, clean and English a**osphere! Beers were good!! Go there for a beer even if you’re not staying there!!!

Cracking little pub. Blonde lady was so friendly and charming , Recommended I tried the Guinness and it was decent for Manchester, will definitely call again the next time I cost Manchester for a pint . Nice selection on offer and nice friendly vibe

Close to the train station and reasonably priced and ideal for a short stay.

Lovely clean comfortable room and lovely bathroom. Stay totally let down by the "strange arrangements" ie letting ourselves in through the fire escape after our night in Manchester (only 11pm) and a self service breakfast we had to eat in our rooms - most peculiar!

Does what it says on the tin. Decent room (although no hanging space, not a problem for an overnight stay), clean, functional, decent size. Breakfast perfectly OK. Reasonable price. Perfect location. Literally across the road from Manchester Piccadilly.

Great traditional English pub. Did not stay there (accomodation). Big variety of beers, nice staff. More for locals, not many tourists. Food is average, nothing special (tried burgers and fish&chips). Very close to Picadilly station. Reccomend!

Hospitable and well located pub right outside Piccadilly Station in Manchester, perfect for quick pint before/after a City game in Manchester. Friendly and prompt service for a quick pint or two........

Spoilt by strange breakfast arrangements

We had a very pleasant stay at the Bulls Head. Our room was very comfortable, the beds were good and the bathroom had a great shower. We had enough space for the 2 of us and the facilities suited us. The location is so good, trains, buses or taxi are less than 50m from the door. We did not find our room noisy, certainly no noisier than you would expect being right in the city. The breakfast was more than enough to set you up to start your day. The coffee machine options were perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to drop off our bags and explore the city before the check in time. We enjoyed our stay and it was great value for money.
