We traveled to Italy for our anniversary. This was our third location and our first time on the Cinque Terre coast. What a beautiful hotel and location. It was quiet and peaceful. Much preferred than the busier towns. Staying in Cinque Terre Gateway was nice because it was close to the busier villages but not as packed as Manarola or Monterosso. The staff was very nice and willing to help in any way. Breakfast was amazing and our room was just renovated with all comforts you could wish. We met a few people who have stayed at this property for several years in a row so I think that says a lot. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This is our last night at the Cinque Terre Gateway at the end of a 15 day trip to the Italian riviera. This was the last of four hotels we have stayed in, all of which have been lovely but the Cinque Terre Gateway has been the best. It has a lovely boutique feel, super convenient location for visit Cinque Terre. The rooms are spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a fantastic outlook. But the thing that stands out about this hotel above all is the wonderful team that looked after us. A massive thank you to the entire team, including the owner and housekeeping. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, they really made our stay in Cinque Terre extra special. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

We came here for our 20th wedding anniversary . We just wanted a room with a view and not too many steps. We had a wonderful stay. Buffet breakfast had everything you could want. The staff, Michele, Felcia and Aurora all were very friendly and helpful. It is a pleasure to be served by people you know enjoy working there and take pride in what they do. The hotel decor and rooms are very well appointed, clean, and comfortable.They also have parking if you are crazy enough to drive. For a couple in their 60's it was important for us to be able to enjoy what Cinque Terre had to offer without leaving exhausted. The train station is right across the street and the port is a short walk away. This is a perfect location for exploring Cinque Terre, Porto Venere, and many other excursions and day trips along the Italian Coast. I truly believe the price of the rooms was more than reasonable, and that we could have spent much more and not have been as satisfied.

We have stayed at the Cinque Terre Gateway 4 years in a row and have already booked our vacation for next year. Beautiful place, excellent service from all the staff. Our room was very clean (brand new furnishings), comfortable bed, AC worked well, excellent shower pressure, and excellent breakfast buffet included each morning in a beautiful setting. The Front desk will gladly schedule any tours, transfer, water taxis and dinners making the trip effortless. We would thank everyone by name but the list would be way too long!! However, I hope everyone knows how much we appreciate them!! It's really one of our favorite destinations every time we come back to Italy.

Great stay in an absolutely beautiful suite with the best view on the city. Our concierge Michele was amazing. He took care of dinner reservations and gave us great information about the 5 villages. Nothing was too much trouble. Always with a smile. His local knowledge and contacts made our stay a pleasure. The room was spotless and very clean. It appears recently upgraded and we were provided with all the necessary requirements such as robes, slippers, good quality toileteries and a really comfy bed. Breakfast each morning was also a delight. Full of delicious local specialties… and generous coffee service. Overall our stay was a great finale of our family vacation. I would definitely recommend the place to anybody looking for an exceptional stay!

Cinque Terre Gateway was probably one of the solution .you can find to visit Cinque Terre. Very well located near the station, with an easy walk into the historic centre and about a 5 minute walk to the seafront (where the ferries for the Cinque Terre etc are). Our room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed, large modern bathroom and great views. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful walk in shower. The breakfast was excellent as well. Aurora was a very accommodating waitress, always willing to help. Michele’s recommendation to dine at the Dau Cila in Riomaggiore was spot on and we enjoyed it. The food is excellent and should not be missed. We left there knowing that if anyone ever asked us about Cinque Terre we would not hesitate to recommend Cinque Terre Gateway. If in Cinque Terre, you must stay here!

We spent 3 nights here in early January and absolutely loved the place! Comfortable king size bed. The room was clean and we didn’t hear any outside noise for a good sleep. Shower is good pressure and supplied products are high quality. The breakfast is lovely with fresh produce delivered daily. Delicious scrambled egg and a good selection of meats, cheese and cold produce. This is a wonderfully organized hotel the entire staff made us feel welcome and were very helpful in a warm and friendly manner. Michele is always making sure things are running smoothly and that guests are happy. I honestly can’t fault this hotel and it is changed my expectations going forward - thank you for a wonderful experience.

This hotel is our favorite, everything was perfect, definitely our best getaway location. Room is nice! Large size (by Italian hotel standards), clean, with comfortable bed, and TWO pillows (I find that to be rare in Italian hotels). Very nice shampoo and shower gels are also provided. Breakfast was very delicious. Finally, I was particularly impressed by the cozy and friendly staff. The manager was amazing (Michele), helped us a lot and made sure our stay was perfect, would 100% recommend for everyone.
