Château Hôtel Edward 1er

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was attentive. Being able to stroll into town was a bonus. The food was outstanding. Breakfast was generous and the wait staff kept an eye on everything and responded to requests quickly. The dinner we had was excellent. Lots of choices and excellent service.

The best hotel experience I have ever had ,a long with the best meal I have had in their restaurant. The place was incredible, their staff incredibly warm and helpful. The surroundings magnificent. I cannot recommend this place enough! Just fantastic!

I enjoyed my one-night stay at this lovely hotel on the edge of town. Unfortunately for me, it was the one night that their restaurant is closed so I missed what I hear is some good dining. Also, it rained on and off that day so I couldn't use the pool. Aside from that, it was an easy check-in with a young man who thankfully for me spoke English as my French is still pretty limited. There was a mild problem with the heat in my room at first but they got that fixed pretty quickly and all the rest was great (though the lighting at the sink makes shaving a bit difficult). Overall, I'd recommend it when visiting the area and the little town has a few other restaurants to choose from as well if you also happen to stay here on a Wednesday night.

We were so impressed with the attention to detail in this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, impeccable service and a well appointed room. We shall return.

Such a lovely small-chateau hotel. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The restaurant is very high quality and serves delicious meals. There’s a lovely pool area and the hotel is in a quiet street within a minutes walking distance. For the price, the hotel and restaurant provides excellent value for money. We stayed here for two nights but wish it could’ve been longer - we’ll return!

I am so glad I found this magnificent hotel, located in one of the most beautiful villages in France. The entire staff is very friendly and incredibly professional. They will go out of their way to provide you with the best recommendations of what to do in the area. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding.

A true gem - boutique, clean, friendly - definitely a place looking to go further - amazing value and comfort and brilliant attentive staff. Amazing food and a sumptuous breakfast. A very pleasant and friendly owner - I would highly recommend for a stay.

Hidden gem in Dordogne. Beautiful Chateau hotel located in the middle of the old medieval town, friendly staff satisfying all your needs and more, poll with a chill out area and restaurant, good breakfast and nice old medieval town worth seeing. Highly recommended.
