Hotel HC Mollet Barcelona

With a great regret I need to review this Hotel , not only for the lack of professionalism but for the lack of customer care so nobody feels the way I was treated by them. First of all, for the price I paid for 2 nights without breakfast ( over 200 euros ) you can book at Ibis which are far more professional and caring ( booked Ibis in 8 different countries without any issues). The receptionists on arrived will tell you that you have a fridge in the room with some beverages ( no one room in the hotel has fridges). Every single room has a door in the middle of the wall which communicated with another room (better if you bring earplugs as you will hear everything from the next door ) If you are not happy because you can't sleep due the noise they won't change you into another room (I asked and they didn't want to move me to another room) I can continue detailing the rooms like the TV is on the middle of the wall but the bed is on the side of the room so if you like to watch the TV from the bed you'll end up with sore neck , but I hope you have enough information to book another hotel. After check out they were asking me to pay for a breakfast that I never had ( I didn't know even where the restaurant was ? ) so make sure they won't overcharge you. So, the personal wasn't trained at all, no manager available DIY hotel.

The hotel is run down and doesn’t look to be maintained at all. Rooms look like they are decades old with skirting and fixtures quite literally falling apart, paint chipped off, I repaired damage etc… The older woman on staff was friendly and polite but the young woman was quite frankly useless. My company had shipped a package to arrive at the hotel, the young woman told me packages to guests are not possible. The next day the older woman gave me the package. On other occasions my colleagues and I arrived at the hotel late at night while the young girl was working. She was very ignorant, didn’t say hello and was sitting behind the desk with another woman (who I’m gathering is a friend, not a colleague). The place quite often stinks of cigarettes (both the lobby and rooms) and this woman spent most of her time out front smoking with her friend. One night in particular we came back late with our own pizzas and ate therm in the lobby. She looked annoyed, ignored us and went outside smoking. A guest arrived to speak to reception and was stood there for around 10 minutes being totally ignored. She walked off our back and I asked her friend (who I presumed was a colleague as she was sitting behind reception) for a drink from the bar. She told me she could get me a drink. I left and went to my room. On the first night the room I slept in was very noisy with lots of traffic from the main road. My window would not close fully which only added to the noise. The next day I asked to switch rooms. Breakfast is disgusting. Bad tea, hardly any milk and a toaster from the 90s where all the text has worn off the controls so I couldn’t figure out how to cook my roast correctly. Very small selection and virtually nothing for veggies other than some old fruit and a couple of baked goods. Parking is a nigh**are. There’s an underground car park that we were told was fully booked so we had to drive around the streets every night looking for a space, driving round the one way system. This was not cool, one particular night when finishing work at midnight we drove around the streets for about 20 minutes looking for parking before parking about 5 minutes away next to a car that had been broken into.

The Hotel is on a nice commuter town on the outskits of Barcelona. While its easy to get the train into the center or airporr during the week, their are no direct train at the weekend and a Taxi costs €75-80. Rooms were comftable but no fridge/drinking water or tea/coffee making facilities in room.

When checking in ,the front desk just handed the keys without giving any information about the facilities, services or the area, and didnot mention they have food or anything.

The lobby smelled like urine and old oil. Both rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. The hotel looks nothing links the photos and is quite far from the city. I would not recommend staying at the property.

Only 3 parking places in front of hotel and always ocupied. Restaurant at hotel opens for dinner only at 8pm.

à fuir, vous aimez entendre tout les bruits possible et imaginable en terme de nuisance ? Si non , oubliez cet hôtel, avec ma compagne nous y avons passé 2 nuits , si j’avais pu j’aurais annuler la seconde , on entend tout les voisins de chambre jusqu’à 5 h du matin y compris leurs ébats , porte qui claque à tout heure bruit de meuble qui bouge , manque de propreté, un calvaire.

Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel pour quatre raisons : La première : le bruit La deuxième : le débit du wifi de qualité médiocre La troisième : le ménage : attention mettez bien en sécurité vos affaires personnelles. Nous avions acheté des coques de téléphones que nous avions mis dans un sac Zara ayant acheté des vêtements à Barcelone. Le sac a disparu... La quatrième : la direction de l'hôtel. Aucune réponse et aucune bienveillance quant à notre demande de remboursement du à cette étourderie de la femme de ménage. (nous réclamions un remboursement de 20 euros...). En définitive très très déçu et peu recommandable...

In de kamer was een rokersgeur waar te nemen in die mate dat ook het beddengoed ernaar rook. In de badkamer die wel proper was, kon de aflaatstop van de lavabo niet verwijderd worden. Bij het ontbijt dat weliswaar uitgebreid en lekker was, kwam iedere morgen een sporter eten die in sportkleding en bezweet kwam eten tot ongenoegen van de aanwezigen zonder dat iemand van het personeel hem erop wees dat dit niet hoorde. Al bij al een slechte ervaring.
