Normally we have great stays here. It is clean & updated, & the staff is usually extremely helpful.
This time, it was terrible.
We realized we needed towels, a bathmat, & a trasbag since there wasn't one in the can, so I tried calling the desk. (We are mobility-impaired, & walking all the way there from the third floor is unrealistic for us except in an emergency.)
The line was busy for 45 minutes. Finally got through, and I was questioned as to whether I actually needed towels, but the woman finally said she would bring some.
By that time, it was after 9 pm.
So we waited & waited...no towels.
Tried calling again. Busy. Busy. Busy.
Then the phone just rang & rang.
We needed towels AND sleep, so hubby decided to walk down. It was intensely painful for him, by the way, & he is still in pain this morning.
That was after 11:30 pm.
He was told someone would bring towels...it was nearly 1 am before we got the towels, with no explanation or apology.
No bathmat. No trashbag, but we got a couple of towels...
After finally showering, and now with less than 4.5 hours sleep, we need to drive several hours this morning.
I can't believe we paid to be treated this way.
