Casa Goliana la Roma

This was our first time to Mexico City and we were hoping to stay somewhere with a great location that would give us an authentic experience. Casa Goliana was the perfect choice! Staying in this beautifully renovated early 20th century home connected us to the history of the neighborhood. And the warmth of the entire staff gave us a sense of the culture. The room was lovely and comfortable, and the fresh breakfast was a bonus. The hotel is within walking distance of excellent restaurants, bars, parks and entertainment. It’s ideal. We loved Mexico City, but the help and various recommendations from Pam and her team throughout our stay made our trip even better. We hope to be back!

Had difficulty choosing between 3 and 4 for this one. Positives: - very polite, friendly and helpful staff - good location for Roma Norte - spacious room - good air conditioning (in part of the room; see below) - clean and comfortable - security 24/7 to monitor ingress/egress Negatives: - we got the master suite, which is basically two rooms separated from each other by the entrance and bathroom. Second room and bathroom had no air conditioning, so essentially we paid extra for a suite we couldn’t use since it was almost 90 degrees F during our stay. - impossible to control the shower temperature. At any moment, it would fluctuate to either very cold or scalding hot - lots of street noise. For us, we stayed mainly on weekdays, so most of the noise was cars honking their horns starting early in the morning. On Friday night, we heard sirens blaring close by all night long. - floors very slanted and squeaky in spots. This could be seen as part of a charming old building. However, it was difficult to navigate at night and very noisy, waking your partner when getting up in the middle of the night. Squeaky bathroom door hinges didn’t help. - limited breakfast menu doesn’t change daily and could be a lot better.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel in the heart of CDMX! The location couldn't be better, and the rooms were clean, quiet, and surprisingly spacious. The staff were exceptional, providing top-notch service throughout my stay. As for breakfast, it exceeded my expectations with its variety and quality. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting CDMX!

I loved Casa Goliana. I loved the crooked floors and the natural light. The location is perfect. We walked almost everywhere, including to many great restaurants. (Definitely try Bao Bao right across the street!) Museums were an easy Uber away. Our room upstairs was very comfortable (though the stairs at altitude got us every time!). I must have a comfortable bed, nice linens and great shower pressure and the Goliana had all of these. The breakfast room is charming with its chandelier, art, morning cappucinos and croissants. It felt very Parisian in that way. We felt safe at all times- like we were in a well appointed cocoon. But the real stand out was the hospitality of the Goliana staff. Jazmin, Arantza, Augustin, the attentive housekeeping crew and, most especially, Pam. There was a professionalism but also an ease that we appreciated. No corporate chain mumbo jumbo. Just genuine hospitality. If you like boutique hotels, the Goliana is for you!

We had a great stay at Casa Goliana. It's a beautiful, old building that has been lovingly restored. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are well appointed, and breakfast was simple but delicious. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. Anything we needed, we just had to ask. Casa Goliana's location in the heart of the Roma district is great for seeing the city and accessing restaurants and shops--but it is a busy part of the city, and so some of the street-facing rooms might be a bit noisy for light sleepers. If that's you, consider asking for a quieter room at the back of the hotel. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on a future trip to CDMX.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel ! It is cozy and quaint, but the best part about this place is the staff who go above and beyond to make it a wonderful stay. A special shout out to Pamela who was so friendly and helpful during our stay.

This is our second visit to Casa Goliana. It's a wonderful place to stay. The staff is very kind and helpful. It's easy to walk from here to nearby parks and restaurants in Roma Norte and Condesa. We hope to be back.

we really enjoyed our four night stay at Casa Golina.! Spacious room (5) and the beds were very comfortable and the linens were also of great quality. Breakfast was offerings were simple but very good and all you would need to start the day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend Casa Golina for you Mexico City stay.

Fabulous place to stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The location is great. Lots of restaurants and the parks are nearby. Everyone was warm and friendly. They have great attention to detail. We hope to come stay again.
