Sol Fuerteventura Jandia - All Suites

Absolutely amazing hotel, so beautiful and clean. Staff were all super friendly there was so much food to choose from at all times, we had a poolside suite it was beautiful, huge bed and bathroom . Separate living space. Bar staff were so helpful, honestly one of the nicest places I've been to I can't wait to come back. They even sent a bottle of wine to my room on my birthday . This is my new favourite winter destination.

Wow !!! Could not fault we had the best time . Great room. Delicious food. Really friendly staff. Will be re booking for September. The staff really make this place perfect. Entertainment team were lovley. Aqua gym hilarious. Food very varied

My family recently stayed at Sol FUERTEVENTURA in Jandia all suites for a week-long holiday and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We booked a package deal that included flights and hotel accommodation, opting for half board with breakfast and dinner included. The food at the hotel was superb - a solid 10/10 from us. From the fresh cooked meals to the delicious salads and desserts, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality and variety of the dishes. The drinks were also top-notch, but it was the food that really stood out for us. Our room was super clean and modern, and the hotel itself was very modern and spacious. Just a quick 2-minute walk from the beach, we were treated to stunning views of the ocean and beautiful sandy shores. The hotel grounds were meticulously maintained with lush flowers and palm trees everywhere, creating a truly picturesque setting. The hotel was extremely kid-friendly, with plenty of activities and entertainment for the little ones. The staff were amazing - so friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The kids had a blast with all the entertainment on offer and we felt completely at ease knowing they were having so much fun. The overall a**osphere at Sol FUERTEVENTURA was calm, beautiful, and peaceful. The entire environment was well-organized and we felt completely relaxed and at home. We were also pleased to find that the hotel was conveniently located near shops and restaurants, making it easy for us to explore the local area. We had an unforgettable experience at Sol FUERTEVENTURA and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a wonderful holiday destination. Excellent hotel with excellent staff, from reception, to bar and cleaning staff. Very friendly and professional nothing was too much trouble and always polite. The rooms were a very goid size, seperate living area, bedroom and large bathroom with a great size balcony. Room safes are free of charge and you can hire pool towels for 10 euro which is refundable We were all inclusive a group of 3 couples and the food was great we were so worried as had read some of the other reviews but we were very pleasantly suprised at the quality and variety of dishes to suit all our tastes. Bar and drinks all inclusive were good value and everywhere is spotlessly clean and all areas including your room are a credit to all the cleaning staff. Now a special shout out to the animation team, every single one of them were fantastic very friendly included everyone Personally loved the aqua gym and yoga sorry can't remember the girls name who took yoga but again excellent and the best team we've come across. Well done all of you and thank you for a truly memorable holiday ❤️ To the management your teams were a credit to the hotel... thanks for a great stay at a great hotel !!!

I regularly stay at Melia hotels. However on 10 April 2024 I was poolside with my 5 yr old son. We go to Fuerteventura for windsurfing and appreciate it may be windy. However on 10 April it was so windy that sun loungers were blowing into the baby pool and books and towels were flying around which was manageable. However there was then a huge gust and then 2 metal bar chairs lifted in the air and were chasing my 5 yr old along the poolside. They were spinning and at his head and eye height. I ran to pick him up and turned my body into the chairs to protect him. Thankfully they did not hit him or he could have had a very serious injury. I however have multiple bruises and slashed my foot open doing this. I was given a plaster by the lifeguard and reported this to reception and have made a formal complaint. However, Melia have made no effort to check in or discuss how they will address this serious health and safety issue in the future.

Clean hotel, looked after grounds, friendly staff, room (Xtra Suite with Pool view) was perfect for family of 4. Choice of food (half board) was excellent every day. Fun times at the pool. Hotel is close to the beach, easy 5min walk. Close to bars and shops.

Not the best experience at Sol Melia Jandia. We have stayed in other Melia hotels and had high expectations. This hotel was a big disappoin**ent. Jandia is a bit run down and tired but there is a nice beach and if you do your research there are a handful of nice restaurants around. Pros: Nice enough room, huge bed. Comfortable bed in living room area for son to sleep on. Fridge in room. Swimming pool and sun deck is nice. Hotel complex is very clean and tidy. Cons: I could go on and on….. The main let down for us was the food; low quality, luke warm, repetitive and mental busy/ messy. IMO unacceptable standard 80% of the time. Anytime we ate at the hotel it was stressful - not what anyone would expect from being on holiday in a 4* hotel. We ate out 70% of the week. Drinks are also poor quality- not branded. Wine / Sangria is from a tap attached to a box. No wine glasses just tumblers. Customer service wasn’t the best. If you would like a stocked mini bar; you need to pay. If you want a kettle; you need to pay (€8 a day!!). If you want a fresh pool towel; you need to pay. If you want a branded drink or wine from a bottle; you need to pay …. you get the jist! We already paid Jet2 a lot of money we don’t expect to pay more for basic requests and other 4* hotel we have stayed at wouldn’t bat an eyelid at these requests. We got the beautiful Canary Island Sunshine - a holiday is what you make it and we had great weather and a nice time but won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is lovely and clean … heated pool is great … rooms are nice and big, good location near the beach and restaurants. We opted for half board and so glad … the food is not good and the bar service is slow and the drinks are bad. We saved £1000 by not going all inclusive and had some amazing meals in the local restaurants. Not enough sunbeds … too many queues for food and drinks … unprofessional bar staff having a laugh with each other instead of serving drinks. Jet2 wanted £800 to upgrade to xtra room … upgraded on arrival for £100!

Checking in was easy, especially as we had left our booking confirmation on the plane. Layout can be confusing as there are steps, ramps and lifts to get you to various areas, we stayed in P110 P111 & P117 and you could either use the lift or there were stairs, to get to the pool area was either another lift, steps or a ramp. Rooms were large and so clean. Cleaners there everyday Whole hotel area was spotless from reception, bar & dining area including the pool area was so clean. We did get sunbeds everyday but it was a rush at 9am when you were allowed access to the pool area. The food was plentiful with a good variety on offer all day, you wouldn’t go hungry, preferred the lunch time food at the pool area (10.30-6pm) as not so much to chose from, you can get a late breakfast choice, then a lunchtime buffet and finishes with an afternoon tea selection. Good choice of drinks available and bar staff, waiters and cleaners were all very polite, helpful and pleasant. Entertainment that we saw was ok too. A very short walk from the hotel gets you to the beach, there are loads of shops, bars & restaurants too. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel
