Local muito agradável, quartos muito limpos e organizados, água da piscina exterior um pouco suja, o atendimento do pequeno almoço 5 estrelas, o pequeno-almoço muito razoável.

Fizeram upgrade do quarto (para um com vista barragem do Alqueva, é de cortar a respiração a vista, o amanhecer e pôr-do-sol). Pequeno almoço muito bom e variado, sendo possível pedir outros tipos de ovos e cafés além do exposto. Possibilidade de usufruir da piscina após o checkout.

After learned about the designated dark skies area of Portugal, I really wanted to visit and see for myself. There are several relaxing and scenic (and luxury) places to stay near Lake Alqueva and the official observatory in Cumeada. I'm so glad we chose Herdade doa Delgados after another hotel was not available. It has an incredible location near the lake with views across to hilltop Monsaraz. The rooms are all on one level facing nature and extremely comfortable and peaceful for our 3-night stay. While pricey even off-season, I highly recommend staying here as it's a perfect choice. You can explore the property on foot to walk around the lake areas as well as take advantage of the pool deck, bikes, basketball, tennis, or just sit at the bar or several cozy quiet areas (or out on our patio but a bit cold this time of year). Breakfast was good and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. Some were fluent in English and others not so much but not a bother. Parking was right in front and it felt like we were staying in a private nature reserve as you pass cows and sheep on the drive in. We took a few day drives to Monsaraz (stunning), the observatory for a night sky tour (a little cloud cover which is not typical but still very worthwhile and educational), clay pot wine tasting at adega Jose de Sousa, and dinner in Mourão town. Since it was winter we did not go out on the lake and the hotel was VERY quiet in December. Also WiFi was fast enough to stream a show at night. The room had a safe and fridge but I wish there was an electric kettle to make coffee or tea anytime. We definitely want to go back for more dark sky evenings (next time I hope it is truly dark so perhaps in the spring) and wine tasting in the Alentejo region.

So glad we ended up at your hotel for a two night stay, as we explored Portugal. We loved everything about this place! ! We had fun exploring the grounds walking to the nearby castle ruins, loved relaxing at the pool, enjoyed delicious leisurely meals, including an amazing breakfast buffet. Our castle view room was quiet, clean and comfortable, And enjoyed sitting out looking at the night sky. Every staff member was so helpful and pleasant! My only suggestion: add a screen door so we could enjoy the night air without letting bugs in to our room. Hope to return! Thank you for such a peaceful, enjoyable stay.

Nenhuma fotografia faz justiça à beleza da paisagem e ao entorno onde se localiza esta herdade. As instalações, os serviços, os funcionários o restaurante, tudo é absolutamente fantástico. A limpeza é imaculada tanto do espaço como roupas de cama e wc. A qualidade do produtos servidos nas refeições (pequenos almoços, snck bar ou restaurante) sao de elevada qualidade. O bom gosto, a atenção ao cliente e cuidado no atendimento são constantes desde o check in ao check out. Foram uns dias inesquecíveis. Parabéns à Herdade dos Delgados nesta arte de bem receber!

Excelente localização num hotel moderno e com espaços idílicos para descansar, junto ao Alqueva ,de enorme beleza. Staff muito atencioso e simpático. Piscina com muitas espreguiçadeiras disponíveis e com bastante espaço. Quarto virado para o Alqueva com vista desfogada.
