Il-Bàrraġ Farmhouse B&B - Traditional

Staying with Rodrick at his fabulous B&B was the highlight of our trip to Malta. Not only are each of the rooms (we stayed in 3) unique, charming and comfortable, breakfasts were beautiful and delicious. We loved being off the tourist track in a real village and hearing Rodrick's stories of the building's history and renewal. We enjoyed our walks to the beach, our cappuccinos in the town square, a lovely afternoon soaking up the sun in the courtyard and the dinner recommendation to Osteria Scottadito, which was fabulous. Thank you Rodrick!

Staying at Il Barrag Farmhouse B&B was an enchanting experience from start to finish. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the traditional breakfast, which was an absolute delight to the taste buds. From freshly baked pastizzi to locally sourced spread and cheeses, every bite was a celebration of the region's culinary heritage. The charm of the accommodation, set within an old limestone building, added an extra layer of authenticity to my stay. The rustic ambiance combined with modern comforts made for a truly memorable retreat.

Amazing unique stay, really glad we picked this accommodation after searching through a lot on Gozo. Location is good for connections around the island. The breakfast options were good and included a range of local cuisine (one of the reasons we picked this place, and was not disappointed) including changes for vegetarian options. The included amenities were good and the room included a mini bar with a selection of local wines that were reasonably priced too. The host is very welcoming and helpful with any information and requests we asked for

The room is cosy and you feel the ambiance of the old building. We were greeted by a friendly host who gave us a nice tour of the building. The choices of breakfast are ample and very varied. We noted that there are lights that stay on during the night but covered it with a towel. The location of the b&b is central and there are nice restaurants and cafes in the vicinity.

Neat, small and well rebuilt farmhouse with comfy beds, welcoming owners and and amazing breakfast. Place is in walking distance to local restaurants, boasts a nice outdoor area and the rooms are fully equipped. The old farmhouse was well converted and brings you into Maltese history

Il-Bàrrag Farmhouse is a unique genuine building directly in the center of Nadur. Though it is located only a few footsteps away from the church, the street is nice and quiet. The building itself is worth a visit: lovingly restored it sprays the charm of former times. The hospitality of Rodrick and his wife has been also perfect, so if you want a historic, perfectly clean and comfy stay - this is the place for you.

Fabulous accommodation in restored 400yr farmhouse. Hosts were fantastic, welcoming, warm and friendly - even made me a vegan breakfast I suggested every day. Easily accessible for public transport to various places on the island - to see sights and/or hike. This is a tranquil and restful little gem on the quiet, peaceful and beautiful island of Gozo.

Absolutely charming historical building. The hosts were wonderful and made us feel comfortable in this cozy a**osphere. Tasty breakfasts. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Very responsive when we had questions, great attention to detail. Quiet, quaint neighborhood with excellent views.

This is a wonderful B&B experience in the charming village of Nadur on the beautiful island of Gozo. The 400 year old family home is lovingly restored. Traditional Gozitian and Maltese breakfasts are tasty and made from locally sourced ingredients. Gozo is a small enough island that Nadur is accessible to major attractions by car, Uber, bus or for the adventurous walking or cycling. Victoria is 10 minutes by car, as is the ferry terminal. The hospitality here is unparalleled and the rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated, and spacious with high ceilings, and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home. Very responsive communicators. Highly recommend!
