"Brilliant location near beach. Aimed mainly at families, evening entertainment typical holiday camp for young children or oaps. Very good service and well maintained facilities. Excellent breakfast, clean rooms and fun games onsite like crazy golf. I had party of 3 adults staying in the hotel side. Best value in the area for a room with 3 or 4 adults. Highly recommend for a trip to North Devon"

"Another exceptional vist. Me and my family vist every year and enjoy our stay every time. There is so many additional activities on site ,ie the swimming pool wich is great and spacious for all,you have a fantastic games room wich has a pool table, darts board games ,books,DVDs. They have a bird sanctuary with beautiful Emu's ,peacocks and hens.this is great for all. The head maid is great natured and very helpful for all your needs with extra bedding and towels, you can even book a breakfast with her. I have also meet the owner who is very welcoming and always asks if your enjoying your visit and how we are wich is great. Trimstone Manor is basically central to all the tourist attractions and beaches ⛱️ and is perfect for a great stay. I have read the previous reviews and find them a bit over the top it is an old place but don't expect a 5star rating it has a lot of history and has beautiful maintained grounds, so ignore any (perthetic) comments it is a wonderful place and I shall be booking for August and next year. The Royal & Fortescue Hotel

"When we arrived the hotel looked beautiful outside and inside. We had a comfort room booked room 112 Which cost £278 for 2 nights. When we got to our room it was very small more like a single room, There were three small drawers and a wardrobe to put your clothes in. The room had a window which looked out to a brick wall, it was very hot in the room even with the fan on. The room was very dark even with the lights on. The bathroom was like an obstacle course trying to get in the bath for a shower. We asked if they had another room but we were told they were fully up. They were not helpful at all. We went for a meal in the restaurant and the food was very nice, and the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately due to the room and price paid for the room we will not be booking this hotel again."

"Our room was very clean and welcoming. The bed exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom clean & very spacious (loved the heated towel rail and large soft & fluffy towels). Breakfasts were delicious and a good variety choices. Hosts very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the home grown honey. Sinai House is in a good location and is a great place to stay when visiting north Devon. We requested a room with views and were not disappointed - lovely views of the Bristol Channel and Wales."

"Excellent service, Excellent food and a barman like Basil Fawlty with a great sense of humour, who could ask for more? We had lunch and he made it such fun we came back at the evening and were not disappointed. Have to say we will be back."
