This place is just a 10 minutes walk away from Oxford University. Space is not big but very worth it for the price

Very convenient location and close to city center. Clean and quiet. The room comes with a small kitchen thus can cook simple food. This is actually part of Oxford University's Department for Continuing Education therefore can get a discount if you happen to be a current student with this department. Will definitely stay again if visiting Oxford.

They treated a wheelchair user awfully. The manager, Mark Bedford, shouted at the lady when she asked for luggage storage. The storage room was empty but they refused to help her out saying ‘no exceptions’. The disabled woman cried and her carer got sick after dragging the heavy suitcases. Stay away from this place is you have any disabilities.

Clean and very well located accommodation. I can’t fault the accommodation apart from other residents vaping everywhere and the air conditioning system sharing that with us. The air system is also quite loud. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Haven’t been able to leave this on *********** - yet . Good - nice staff , clean rooms, decent beds . Bad - ridiculously high heat on all night in room and en-suite , in April - had to open all the windows , terrible nights sleep , also ridiculous - was a flashing red fire alarm light directly above the bed that penetrated my eyelids when I lay on my back - and when I tossed and turned in the heat . If we weren’t 4 flights of stairs and 2 corridors away from reception , I wouldn’t have gone and told somebody. For £120 it would also have also been nice to have a tv that wasn’t tiny , and maybe Netflix. Couldn’t try the breakfast as planned, because we had to sleep in til just before we wouldn’t had to leave , after such a terrible night.

I stayed here for eight nights in January 2023 as a solo traveller. It was fantastic. The location is wonderful, perfectly central and a short 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town and key university locations. The staff were wonderfully friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. And the whole accommodation had a warm and welcoming vibe. My understanding is that the accommodation is owned by the university. Accordingly, it felt a bit more like staying in university accommodation than a traditional hotel, but that is absolutely perfect in a place like Oxford. It certainly added to the charm and the experience of visiting Oxford. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Booked two rooms, one accessible. Staff at reception were more than helpful throughout our stay. Accessible room was very good for our quite elderly companion. I was less than thrilled dragging suitcases across the square, then up some stairs, unlocking door #1, down some stairs to lift, upstairs to door #2 and a landing and then through a series of swinging doors to arrive at door#3. Subsequent trips without suitcases were fine. Room was large, clean and held no pretensions of anything but practicality. Bathroom was large, very well lighted and clean. I liked the nearness of a couple nice restaurants just through a passageway on the square and all four of us loved the excellent breakfast. Our biggest complaint was the spotty Wi-Fi which forced repeated log ins. We wanted a place that was walking distance to the Ashmolean and convenient to services. Rewley House met the requirements. And once more, the staff at reception were very competent and quite kind.

Spent a week in Oxford at Rewley House - really big comfy room overlooking a square, a lovely quiet location right there in the centre, and just around the corner from nearly everything. There's also a 'common room' downstairs with a bar, and coffee, and a nice courtyard. I had a desk looking out over the square – it made me want to write my novel! The bathroom was enormous and clean. This is a great place to stay, really good value, highly recommend.

I booked Rewley House for one night as I was on a residential weekend course on Italian down at Ewert House. I walked the 35 minute route down Banbury Road from Ewert House, but you can catch the 2 or 2A buses, which stop on this road. The hotel is in 2 blocks, and I stayed in 37 Wellington Square, 20 paces from the main building. I had a very large twin room, well heated and a bath with a shower over it. There was a plug in hairdryer, tea/coffee tray but not biscuits, and a fan in the wardrobe if you were too hot - might be hot in the summer as room 466 is on the top floor, but the windows do open. Breakfast is taken downstairs over in Rewley House and was excellent. The quality of the food on the buffet was very good.
