Tucan Suites Tarapoto - Hotel Asociado Casa Andina

We had a very bad experience at this hotel Now I explain why? We booked this hotel for 4 nights on our visit to Tarapoto. 1) The insistence we had was at breakfast on the second day, this day we left very early for our tour and we went down to the restaurant at 6:55 am and we saw that breakfast was ready, so we decided to serve ourselves and suddenly we were told Mr. Cara Arce who was the waiter approached, this man with a very arrogant attitude began to tell us that we could not have breakfast, since it was not yet 7 am, but there were only 2 minutes left until 7 am but according to the man You had to drink at 7 am, well he practically forbade us and with some foul words. this day was my wife’s birthday so we wanted to start our day with good energy, this attitude from this employee practically ruined our day since we were never able to have breakfast. 3) We sent an email to the administrator explaining the problem so we could have a meeting to clarify this incident. Which we never got a response from them. (Until now we are still waiting for her email after months) 4) The next day, due to our insistence, we were able to meet with the Administrator, where we explained in detail, at first she treated us kindly, but when i told her that she would have to return the amount for that breakfast, she became aggressively ready. to confront us personally with the worker who who called him and the worker even threatened us and the administrator told us that he will not give us anything back 5) We are really disgusted by the attitude of the workers at this hotel, me and my husband think they have no idea about customer service, since one cannot face the staff with the customer. This company that is partners with Casa Andina should train their staff. We, who always travel to many countries around the world, have never had these types of experiences.

A bit too pricey and noisy, loud music with cheap speacker going all day, if resting is what you look for I would think twice, rooms face the pool so noise is constant, Had to call front desk and insist to have some people in the pool at 11pm stop making noise. Staff very friendly and food is very good.

Spent a total of 4 nights here before and after my sister and I attended a retreat. The best thing about our stay was the service we received. Staff were so friendly, helpful and obliging. Also very patient with us not being able to speak Spanish. The restaurant menu was not overly vegetarian friendly, however, they went above and beyond to cater to our needs, allowed us to order a little bit creatively and were so helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our last night stay we had no hot water that night or early in the morning before our flight out due to a burst water pipe, but that was an unforeseen circumstance that couldn’t have been helped. Excellent choice if you are in Tarapoto.

Great hotel its so calm and hygiene looby area rooftop, pool ,rooms everything was very clean and attractive . Anybody can go with there family friends relatives youbwil feel there very calm and relax

Shower was not that clean. Water pressure on the shower head was very weak. No wifi signal in room. Had to go to corner of balcony to get signal. Asked to change rooms but the only other room smelled like smoke.

False advertising, neglected facilities, lack of cleanliness in the room and bedding in poor hygienic conditions. awful experience.

Friendly staff. Food was excellent.

Tuvimos una experiencia muy mala en este hotel Ahora explico porque? Nosotros reservamos en este hotel 4 noches en nuestra visita a Tarapoto. 1 )El insistente que tuvimos fue en el desayuno del segundo día, este día nosotros salimos muy temprano para nuestro tour y bajamos al restaurante a las 6:55 am y vimos que el desayuno estaba listo, así que decidimos servirnos y de pronto se nos acercó el señor Cara Arce que era el mozo, este señor con una actitud muy prepotente nos empezó a decir que no podíamos tomar el desayuno, ya que aún no era las 7 am, pero solo faltaba 2 minutos para las 7 am pero según el señor tenías que tomar alas 7 am bueno prácticamente nos prohibió y con unas palabras soeces. 2 )este día era mi cumpleaños entonces queríamos empezar nuestro día con buena energía, esta actitud de este empleado prácticamente nos malogró nuestro día ya que nunca pudimos tomar el desayuno. 3) Enviamos un correo a la administradora explicando el problema para poder tener una reunión y poder aclarar este incidente. Lo cual nunca tuvimos una respuesta de parte de ellos (Hasta ahora seguimos esperando su correo después de meses) 4) Al día siguiente por nuestra insistencia pudimos reunirnos con la Administradora, donde le explicamos al detalle, en un primer momento ella nos atendió amablemente, pero cuando mi esposo le dijo que tendría que devolvernos el monto de ese desayuno ella se puso agresiva a punto de confrontarnos con el trabajador personalmente que lo llamó y el trabajador hasta nos amenazo y la administradora nos dijo que no nos devolverá nada y que podíamos quejarnos. 5) Realmente nos indigna la actitud de los trabajadores de este hotel, yo y mi esposo pensamos no tienen ni idea sobre atención al cliente, ya que uno no puede enfrentar el personal con el cliente. Esta empresa que son socios con Casa Andina deberían de capacitar a su personal. Nosotros que siempre viajamos a muchos países del mundo, nunca hemos tenido este tipo de experiencias. Ubicacion un poco alejada del centro, pero se soluciona CV on mototaxi, cuenta con aire acondicionado y piscina, así como cocina y cócteles excelentes. Habitación cómoda y con implementos para cocinar si así lo desea. Recomendado
