We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, which specialises in home-grown, home-cooked food. We took a boat trip around the lake, where, helped by the very knowledgeable naturalist, we spotted many bird species."

"We had a fabulous stay at Mihir Garh, a purpose-built retreat with 8 suites and 2 rooms. "The Jawai Sagar Resort is beautifully located in a very picturesque spot by Jawai Bandh. A welcome rest and quiet haven in the country. The rooms are spacious, simple though very comfortable. "The owner himself pays attention to the management and ensure that you are comfortable. Food is amazing. They cook everything fresh and can customize it based on your requirement. However, do order with sufficient time as fresh for will take it's own time. Gentleman behavior that took me by surprise...we could not go to the resort on the specified date due to some medical emergency and could not inform them also. I called them after two days and explained my ordeal. To my surprise they said that not to worry... I can come on any other day based on availability and they will not charge me anything extra. Their motto is that the guests should have a good time for the effort and money spent. I have not come across such a gesture before. Keep it up"

My shower was broken and i called and they directly came and fixt it. They food was delicious! And as woman solo traveling i felt really safe. It was one of the best experience i have had in India. The only disappointment was the buffet dinner which was expensive, not hot and not much choice, had we been advised it was a buffet we would not have chosen to have it"
